I got wighed yesterday lunchtime, 11st 6lbs so only put on 3.5 lbs in three weeks off the diet, small price for all the enjoyment I got and I'm sure it will come off quickly so I'm happy with that.

Smoothies I think you should check out as they tend to have loads of fruit squashed into them so beware of the carb count, plus fruit should be more filling - although it just cost me 75p for a !!!!!!!g nectarine in M&S! Reminds me why I usually snack on meat and cheese......

    Evening ladies.

Well day 4 nearly over and i feel great!! I'm not missing eating what the rest of the family are, i thought i would like crazy! After my horrid day 1 i didnt know if i would be okay and able to continue, I'm so glad I'm over my sickness/headache stage! I went for a run yesterday, well i say run...a jog was more like it, running is not my strong point but tomorrow evening I'm off to the gym to hit the loveable cross-trainer!

    How is everyone doing?

Well done Star that is a brilliant start!

God Shaggers, 75p for a necterine! thats soo bad, no wonder people eat crisps and choc as its only half the price! 3.5lbs isn't half bad if you've had a full three weeks off!

I've had one egg scrambled for my snack on day 1 as i felt so terrible and thought i just needed food, so I think its okay?

Well weigh in was last saturday and I was 2.5kg down! Am so happy with this :) I'm using my wii fit as scales. Am a bit worried though I had a work do to go to last night. Ended up having chicken wings for starters then opted for a steak with broccoli and carrots for mains. I know carrots should be eaten in moderation on this and the portions were huge. I didn't have enough will power to leave half :( Am going to try and work my bootie off this week to compensate. Am holding a party for a friend on friday and am trying to come up with foods I can eat. Am planning on a nice meat platter with some hard cheese and will make jelly cubes as well as the other stuff for my non cs friends.

Has anyone any ideas how to make the strawberry shake more palateable? (Different tastes am sure some folk out there love it!) Have tried hot and cold and I don't think a teaspoon of coffee would help the way it does with the vanilla :P

    Hey everyone

1 day until the big weigh in! I'm def feeling less bloated than what i was last week. Found yesterday really tough, had gone shopping and forgotten to take a shake with me and within an hour i felt like i could faint, so had half of my friends cheese sandwich! Messed me up for the rest of the day but nothing I can do so back with avengence today! Trying out different fruits like berries, i'm quite a fussy eater so i'm impressed with myself for trying new things.

Hope all are doing well, I think a few of you are weighing in tomorrow so good luck all!

    Morning all

I am happy to report a loss of 6lbs on my first week! Soooo happy, down to 12st on the dot and 1st7lbs to go.. it seems like nothing but i know its going to be hard getting that last stone off!

Really felt like celebrating with a greasy sausage sandwich this morning but i'll resist and stick to my strawberry shake :)

    Morning Ladies...

Well 1st weigh in and I've lost 6.4lbs!!!

I'm so happy :-D and to be honest don't feel deprived when i'm choosing the healthier options! I was at a buffet last night and felt proud of myself that I walked past the creamy potato salad and tomatoy pasta and straight to the leafy salad!

I'm at a wedding reception this evening which is another buffet style meal and I'm hoping I have the will power to walk past those dishes again! I know I could swap my shake to dinner and have lunch at home but I think then I would feel deprived and end up eating things i shouldn't, also it saves people asking why I'm not eating if I eat at the reception!

    Keep it up guys!
