Can i join please? Everyone seems to be doing great!

Just ordered CS and planning to start a week tomorrow - crazy week in work this week so don't want to risk headaches so thought I'd just do low carb and healthy this week to ease myself in.

Well done Apple, your doing brilliantly, how much is that lost now??

Was my last day at work on Friday so had a very bad eating/drinking day-I gave myself the day off!

Been to the gym today and feel very strange to be honest, had a CS soup for lunch and lamb and roasted veg for dinner so havent eaten a great deal but feel so full and bloated...wonder why this is?? Do you think its reprecussions of Friday's miss haps?

Welcome Vixi-I love this forum more than the offical CS one as people seem to reply and are more supportive here, in my opinion. Hope you get off to a flying start, let us know how you do!

hi to all newbies, and well done all you other girls who have lost weight keep it up it does work.

take care all speak soon. x
  • Hi all,

Down another 1.1kg this week which I am chuffed about. I set a weight loss target of 5kg this month on my wii and I am 0.7kg off this goal. So thats my aim for this week. Had quite a bad weekend, eating junk food to beat the band. My poor stomach wasn't happy with the influx of rubbish and let me know in no uncertain terms. Back on track today but am going to up my excercise this week in the hopes I can offset my forbidden weekend!

    Take care every one :)

    1. Coconut Oil
    Why it makes you skinny:
Most oils, including corn and olive, are broken down into fatty acids that circulate through your body after you eat them, allowing hungry fat cells to suck them up and store them. Coconut oil, however, is rich in a type of fat rarely found in other foods, called medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs). "When you eat MCTs, they go straight to the liver instead of going directly into circulation. There, they're burned up like kindling for a fire," says Cherie Calbom, author of The Coconut Diet.

Plus, your body requires extra energy to digest MCTs. Including them can increase your daily burn by 45 calories, says Marie-Pierre St-Onge, Ph.D., assistant professor of nutrition at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

    How to use it:
Spread coconut oil on toast instead of butter, melt it on veggies or use it for saut!ing. But don't deep-fry with it; coconut oil breaks down at high temperatures. Look for virgin oil (nonvirgin is processed and tastes nasty) at health-food stores. Beware: Coconut oil is saturated and can raise cholesterol and triglycerides, so alternate it with other oils

i use Nutiva extra virgin organic coconut oil,it smells lovely and after getting used to is now my preferable way of having my coffee (1tsp twice a day at the mo while my body gets used to it )

add;there are lots of articals out there, more informative ect have a look on mse too !

I've got a dilema...I'm making stuffed peppers for dinner and stupidly put the rice in with the meat forgetting to take my portion out...is this a massive issue that i have a little rice in my pepper because i know we are told to avoid rice, potato etc

Also I'm quiet annoyed...i know i had a bad day friday BUT ive been to the gym sun, mon and today!! but i weighed myself this morning and apprently ive put on nearly 2lbs!!! I feel really disheartened! I feel thinner in myself but obv i'm not with what the scales are saying!

i think that youve mainy to stay clear of foods rich in carbs during the first week and that a wee hiccup (ie :no more than once a week and small amounts)wouldnt do much harm.
