Well i spoke far to soon yesterday, saying i felt okay! I went to bed with the worst headache I've had in a long time and thought i was going to spew with every step i took!

BUT I've woken up this morning and feel alright at the moment, just had a strawberry shake for brekkie...we shall see how I go today!

Can I ask, did anyone else feel terrible in their 1st few days? and also 'tasty cheese' what is this!? Can I have 30g of chedder for my snack?

    Keep going all :-)

Well i weighed in this morning and after my first week of CS i have lost 3.5 lbs :j I know its not as much as some peeps but my TOTM is due and my bloating started really badly yesterday so it could have been much worse lol

Katiecub i felt awful for the first couple of days, especially the first day. I had awful headaches and was convinced i was going to be sick everytime i drank a shake. By day 3 i was fine and apart from a lot of tiredness on day 5 the rest of the week was plain sailing. After the bad headaches the first day though i took some painkillers with my morning shake the next few days, my thinking being if any headaches were going to come it was better to just stop them in their tracks altogether.

Also 30g of cheese is fine as a snack. I've been avoiding it as it can trigger migraines for me but i may start having a smaller amount ie 15g with a slice of ham as a snack. I'd go for a strong cheddar or a tangy cheese, i think they just say tasty as a mild cheese for example can taste bland but who knows.

:beer:well done c l a i r e, 3.5 lbs is a great weight loss and yep it gets easier, all the side effects seems to wear off by the end of the second week for most of us.

Katiecub ,i mostly experienced fatigue and sore bones in my first week or two ,with okayish days every so often(didnt get very windy or headachy)that all went fairly quickly and i can honestly say that im more alert and with it than i have been in ages (that makes me sound soo old but,i guess it could be wheat that was causing it) stick with it though, the effects arent unbearable and they dont last that long and on the plus side the weight loss can be fantastic ,with most ppl having the biggest loss in their first week but some having them in their biggest loss in the second week too.hope that makes sense:p.
Star123,we all fall of the wagon now and again(or eat it:rotfl:)the trick is to get straight back to the plan and not beat yourself up about it,if u make mistakes please please enjoy yourself while ur doing it or it just wouldnt be worth it.
    good luck everyone :D
All I can do is be me, whoever that is

    Morning Ladies!

Well the weekend is over thank god, I find it much harder on a weekend to stick to, but i've managed ok apart from a couple of spare ribs last night! but I felt like I just needed something bad.

I've bought some 2l bottles of water to carry around with me every day so I tend to drink it quicker, it helps knowing exactly how much you have drunk too. I can't drink it on its own so I add just a couple of drops of orange squash to give it a little bit of flavour, like you say appletart, you need to enjoy doing the diet or it will be impossible to stick to.

Smoothies tend to be a good snack for me, I love innocent smoothies especially strawberries and banana so I have a small glass for a snack in the afternoon.

I'm on day 4 now and feeling a lot less bloated but extremely tired, had a headache yesterday but it wasn't too bad.

Only 3 days until weigh in, and I still haven't stepped on the scales which is soooo hard not to do!

    Speak soon

    Well done star:j

I think 1 boiled egg would be fine as an evening snack, not sure about two but i've been sticking to half a CS bar as a snack so not too sure of whats allowed.

Sukey you are putting me to shame with all your exercising, i've decided now that i'm going to do a bit on the cross trainer tonight. I'm really knackered today but i'm off on hols a week today so some last minute panic exercise is in order:rotfl:
