gems sounds good to me, though i think i read a thread on the CS forums that said cutting down on the fruit could help with you weightloss? Have a read of the forums on https://www.celebrityslim.co.uk, its free to register and then you can access the forums. There are a few threads where people have asked for advise on weightloss slowing down, i'm only in week one so didn't really pay that much attention. The thing is though you have already lost 11lbs in under a month, thats a massive achievement and you should be really proud of yourself:T
Well its day 4 here for me. Banana shake for breakfast and 1/2 a CS bar for my midmorning snack.:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -

Hi all,
Am on day 5 of week 1 of CS and have to say its been pretty easy so far. Shakes are quite nice (bar the strawberry ick) and the beef soup is....edible. Having to lose in the region of 5 stone so really hoping I get a good loss in this first week.
One question, am going out for dinner tommorow night and worried about what to eat. All the friends I am going with are real foodies so I really hoping to resist temptation. Am thinking steak with veg for my mains and coffee for dessert, I think my treat will be a glass of wine.
Best of luck everyone0 -
day 3 on CS and so far so good stickin to shakes and snacks and had plain omelette and veg which was diff from having chicken or turkey etc, it seems to be getting easier i see foods tht look good but i dont want them, wow i never thought i say that lol0

It's great to see so many new people on the site - more people to swap ideas with and compare notes with !!!!!!
Sukey - chin up mate - I feel exactly the same way - thought the first few weeks were great, didn't really crave anything but wow its hit me the last few days. My mouth waters at the thought of pasta - any pasta and any sauce will do. Gave into temptation last weekend and do you know what I was ssoooo exhausted the next day I could hardly get up out of bed !!!! hopefully learnt my lesson.
Keep up the good work everyone - WE CAN DO THIS :T:T:j:j

My main meal last night was delicious, I had cottage pie but instead of mash potato I had cauli mash, it looked just like potato and tasted really nice too.0
-
that sounds worth tryin mm cauli mash?! I think in this heat its easier not to eat but manage to drink all tht water0
-
the cauli mash was really easy to make just cauliflower and a little bit of low fat yoghurt, but you can make it with other stuff as well just google it, apparently you can make cauliflower rice aswell by grating cauliflower and either boiling it or dry stir fry it.0

Wow I have two weeks off and more newbies pop up, hurrah and welcome!
I haven't restarted CS yet but I don't think I've put much weight on as I've don tons of walking whilst away, and my shorts still fit me buy the end of it ha ha! I'm out for a family lunch on Sunday, plus it's my TOTM, so will go get weighed Monday and restart the 'regime'.
Was just reading through recent posts and wanted to make a couple of comments. Fisrtly, we all cave in to temptation, better to just do it, make sure you enjoy it, then get back on the wagon without beating yourself up - we're bloody women not robots! And when times get emotionally tough we DO turn to food - if you're struggling mentally then feeling guilty from 'cheating' (hate that word) on a diet will only add to your stress; life is too short, just do what you need to get through the process of grieving or whatever it is that's troubling you, then when your mind is in a better place, start afresh and with new resolve. Hate to sound hippy-dippy, but having just returned from my first Glastonbury festival and I feel at one with my soul, and it's reminded me what is important - happy mind equals happy body, maybe we need to remind ourselves of our good points rather than keep hating ourselves for our lumpy bits and wobbly bellies.
If we change our outlook so that we don't hinge everythin on how we look, maybe we'll all achieve our goal weight loss in a quicker and happier way.
Jeez what a ramble, hope it makes sense to some of you!0 -
Shaggers, did you just eat what you want on holiday then? I'm only on day 5 of week 1, and will have done just over 2 weeks on the diet by the time i go on holiday. I'm planning to just take the week off and hope that all the walking and swimming i'll be doing will help limit the damage. I'm just worried though that i'll blow up like a balloon:o:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0
