    star go to boots for your buy 1 get 1 half price, they all ok cos they low carb.

    dane-katie ive lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks on cs, i ve got about 6 stone to loose too, i think the shakes and the bars are disgusting but gonna start getting some veg and chicken soups.

    feeling a bit down at the minute TOTM and feel poo basically, looks like i havent lost anything this week, im not happy cos i do loads of exercise the joys of being a woman eh.

    Sukey - not sure what to suggest really. Looks good to me although you might be right in that your body is getting used to the same bar for brekkie, the same bar for dinner etc.

    Do you like mince - lamb, turkey, beef etc. My evenings after work are spent running round after the kids, footie, gymnastics, brownies etc so I have to something easy. I tend to make a huge pan of mince, tomatoes onion, mushrooms etc - and freeze in small pots. I then get them out in the morn if I know I'll be in late and have this poured over fresh veg, or if got a little more time make stuffed peppers with it. Do you like eggs - you could have omlette with a huge side salad. Chicken kebabs with salad or I also have a chicken and smoked bacon mix with a small amount of mayo and pepper with a salad. Hope some of the ideas help you. I do think its a mattter of mix and match your foods!!!

    Heya Girls, Well did my weigh in (my scales are crap) but they say im 4lbs down ;):p I havent exactly been really good with my portion sizes, i mean im still having3/4 of veggies but the plates huge becoz im just not full long enough throughout the day, but im kewl with that loss :j im gonna start having my main meal at lunch, an when iv got some pennies gonna get the bars :p, iv tried finding the nutritional vvalue of each atkins bar, was wondering if any of you gals that have them would you mind quoting the packet for me , i found a site that said the bars rainge from 2g - 30g of carbs in each bar, the one that has 2g is called peanut fudge granola, an the one with the most is called chocalate decadence 30.4g :confused: is that right?

    I'll try and help with the Atkins bars I have in stock ........... right just got them out of cupboard and here goes ......

    Atkins Day Break - per bar:
    12g protein, 0.4g sugar, 138n calories 2.1g carbs

    Atkins Advantage - Chocolate Decadence:
    16g protein 1g sugar 2.1g carbs

    got weighed today stayed the same, really gutted but im feeling so tired so think it could be TOM, core blimey ive been craving bread chips this week dunno why, its been 3 weeks since i last had any bread n stuff. anyone else felt like this?

    Thanx girls :j ali thanx for doing that, thats mad thers less carbs in the bars than the shakes :eek: weight would probably come off quicker with Just the bars, oh but the shakes are lovely :D xxx

    Tried butternut Squash last night an its yum!!! miss me sweet potato thou,

    im gonna to CS for 5 weeks in total an gonna go onto Weight watchers, to get me into a routeen with food control because I doubt I could live on a low carb diet :o an to keep me on track an keep it off once i reach my goal :T , have you girls got any plans for life after CS ?

    Well i took the plunge and bought the starter pack yesterday. I started this morning with a cafe latte shake which i really liked, gonna have half a berry bar in a minute so hope it tastes ok. I slept in this morning so didn't have my shake till about 11, hope that doesn't affect things:confused: For dinner i plan to have grilled chicken and some stirfry veg, just because its the easiest thing i can think of. What do peeps do for dinner then, any favourites that you'd care to share?:D

    Last night I had Mashed an fried Butter nut squash with slice of melted cheese an handfull of prawns,,

    night before I had slices of fried BNS (was tryin it for 1st time) with boiled spinach n broccoli mixed, cucumber, slice of cheese an quorn sausage an lil tomato puree, was really yum,,

    Love stuffed mushroom with onion an spinach with cheese <-- as u can tell i love me melted cheese with me veggies an bit of soy sauce :p
  • Hi everyone, Tueday will be my week three weigh-in. Here's how I've got on so far:

    Start weight - 180lbs
    Week 1 - -7.8lbs - 172.4lbs :j
    Week 2 - -1.2lb - 171.2lbs :j
    Week 3 - ?

    So 8.8lbs lost so far. I have found it pretty easy to be honest. My main temptation - which I do give in to now and again is a couple of glasses of wine of an evening!!

    Has anyone else tried to make a shake with hot water in the shaker only for the lid to pop off and for it to go everywhere - I did in a work meeting on day two - oh the shame!!!

    Anyway currently weigh 171lbs (12st 3lbs), my goal weight is 140lbs (10st) so doing ok, a long way to go though.
