Sukey - oh my god I am exactly the same - normally sleep like a log but since starting this haven't slept well at all. takes yonks to get to sleep and am waking for ages in the night. I have a 4 year old (who thinks shes about 10 months) lab called milly and we go for long long walks across the dunes, the woods and the beaches around here. Shes in her element and it gets me walking.

    Leea

I buy the Atkins Day Break bars - Choc chip Crisp ;) Yummy Yummy Yummy :j

Some say you can have them as your snack, others say that they have to be a meal replacement. I don't have one every day, just when I really really get the choccie munchies but I have a whole one as a snack replacement. They would never fill me as a meal.

Let us know how you get on !!! and Good Luck

OMG  have I just struggled with the kids tea. son just back from PGL holiday with school and asked for a large plate of spag bol with garlic and cheese bread.

Over did it on the pasta and had loads left over - all lookin at me in the pan sayin - eat me, eat me. Had to grab the tomato ketchup (which I hate) and pour it over the top, quick before I scoffed the lot. :A

i'm not very knowledgeable about nutrition but thought low carb was the basis of CS, however on reading the nutritional content on the pack of shakes , it seems they have as much carbs as bread, pasta, etc , have i got this wrong? ( though the main thing is that it seems to work, well done to all the successful dieters on the plan )

Hi benny123, celebrity slim states that each replacement meal contains a nutritionally balanced combination of proteins, carbs, fats, vitamins ect that help sustain you on your program, it also contains other important nutrients like green tea, dairy calcium yadayadayada. This is what must make the difference as basically all the other steps can be done without it and you will still lose weight but without the cs replacement meals i dont think that myself or many others would find such huge changes so easy to follow.I have tried some of the changes to my diet that the CS diet requests and havent stuck to it for all that long. You would lose weight for example by drinking the copious amounts of water, subbing the normal high fat carp for fruit and veg, cutting down on bad carbs and eating small amounts at frequent intervals-ive tried all these things at one time or another and have never stuck,it always seemed too hard, too long for results to show and just really unmanagable.I find it amazing therefor that i am doing all of the above and enjoying the results and finding the going not too hard.Im only entering week 2,time will tell how i go but i do know that the hardest part is over and i feel really energetic now,I really do recommend it .
Ali5 :T:T big claps for the willpower, its sooo hard saying no to the garlic bread soo well done:j u.
good luck on ur first day leea:D

Danielle91, if you dont like the soups just use the shakes and bars, either or will still work. For dinner tonight i had lamb with huge salad, the night before was spag bol and substituted pasta for cauliflower with wee sprinkle of cheese +salad on the side, before that was chicken, courgette and mushroom omelete and salad .It can be monotonous with the salad but its easy to vary that with different veg and seasoning ect.Boring but worth it,suppose its easy now with the nicer weather .I use half and Atkins advantage for a snack the same as you would a CS bar.

Thanks for the tip johnboy ill have a wee look shortly.:D.

Sukey, good luck on the weigh-in.ill post mine when ive done it(at a decent time in the morning-my sisters in labour and im hanging about waiting for news before i go to bed and resisting the galaxy ripple OH has in the fridge the evil shoodobby that he is, grrr.
    Oohh crampy hands,bye x
All I can do is be me, whoever that is

Thanks alot for your help. Im going to get the bars & just have one for lunch instead of the soup :D
Yummy food suggestions too.. Definately better than the ones i saw on CS site!! I have decided that due to the fact i dont have any bars, i am RE-STARTING my CS diet tomorro. Although i have had a shake for b.fast, i have a lovely lettuce & cucmber roll for lunch :o yumyum!

Thanks again & good luck eveyone. Dx
