Hey appletart well done on the loss!! (Normally you'd commiserate with people on their 'loss' but not on this site innit). When I went out I wasn't even tempted by cider, in fact I'm sitting here with my first one in over three weeks and that's cos I'm officially on holiday, hurrah. I think I wasn't tempted cos the diet was working and I was determined not to undo it for the sake of a drink - I had two spritzers in the tallest glass available and I didn't feel like I'd missed out at all, in fact I felt a bit smug watching all the drunkards, ha ha.
However, I'm now on holiday for two weeks so will be enjoying myself and resuming CS when I get back - I'm not foregoing an afternoon tea for nobody!! I will be taking some Atkins Break bars as snacks though, just to keep me away from grabbing random crap.
Keep your stories coming, it's great to see how everyone is getting on.0 -
Hi, started the diet today which hasn't been too bad. Tried Lighterlife before, which cost a fortune and I managed to put the weight back on when I finished. Any good tips for me re snacks0

Hey, Ive been reading a lot on here about celebrity slim. I was at my cousins this weekend and spotted an advert for CS in a rowlands pharmacy window, and thought I'd check it out.
I've recently been on a similar version of this called All About W8 (formally W8 matters). I found it ok, but I didn't get much motivation from it. (Particularly because it costs £50 a week:mad:) Whereas with CS it's a lot cheaper, and it would seem you don't feel deprived during the day, coz you can have small snacks in the day.
I'm gonna be ordering some CS on wednesday. I've still got a few of the other things to get rid of, and I'm not just gonna throw them away, not when they cost so much!
I've got a lot of weight to lose. And have tried many things in the past, but from what I've read on here, it would seem that this could really work. Will update when things get rolling!!:rotfl:0 -
i'm thinking of trying this plan but don't have a chemist that stocks it nearby, does anyone know of a good mail order company that supplies it ? thank you
Don't think anyone answered this? CS is exclusive to Rowlands Pharmacy so you can only buy it online from them http://www.rowlandspharmacy.co.uk/department/celebrityslimwomensmealreplacementproducts/index.cfm and you have to pay postage under £70 for it."If the Apocalypse comes; Beep me!"0 -

6 lb lost in first week - am absolutely delighted - can't believe how easy its been. Don't get me wrong I still get the munchies at night, especially when the kids have gone to bed as that was the normal time for a few glasses of wine and some choccie !!!;)
Roll on next monday's weigh in

morning everyone, hope its been relaxing weekends all round:o.
i've been soo good all weekend i'm practically growing wings !! i'm doing really well despite having loads of temptations, like making banana bread and cakey bakeys with the kids and also because im the head chef at home and made lasagne and garlic bread (my weakness) and didnt even nibble( :A<< me!!).If ive done any thing wrong it's been having a chunk of red pepper with a spoonfull of tuna when id already had some almonds as my last snack (hormones were demanding chocolate but i said NO-:A <<me :rotfl:.If i was chocolate right now i would eat myself (if i was allowed to!!) Been a bit fatigued again yesterday but had barely any sleep aswell the night before with the kids so might not be anything todo with the diet.
:T Sukey-right on my sista !! :Twell done u- we'll be like skinny mini's in no time :rotfl:( fish n chips -yummy.im soooo jealous !):DAli5 -u kick fats a ss:rotfl:well done.:T.I'm the same at night, you want to enjoy the time when the kids r in bed and treating yourself to something yum is part and parcel of that, theres not much i can suggest except have ur glass of water handy and no cartoons on,thats what i do (ohh no cartoon network,no cbeebies ohh the bliss ).
Welcome emmie_86,Celebrity slim seems to work,i'm only a few days into my second week but its working miracles it seems and although you do get peckish, you never get absolutly starving, its always managable and the fact that the results are more obvious and iminent than anything else ive tried help keep me on the straight and narrow.6 and a bit more weeks and ill be able to have the odd carby treat and knowing that ill have dropped a lot of weight on the way will help me stick to it.Good luck.
Shaggers, thanks for the advice ,tall spritzers will do,knowing that they are not to bad will save me from just saying" to hell with it bar guy gimme something with vodka and chocolate in it cos im a baddddd girl" well maybe it will:rolleyes:. Enjoy ur hols mrs.
Jordarr,go for it,its not expensive and is definatly worth a try.Good luck. All I can do is be me, whoever that is

:money:hi all i was on this programe about four months ago and lost a stone. want to get back on it and started again yestarday. was looking through ebay and came across the shakes at a cheaper price.
if you buy them from rowlands then they are £25 each box but if you buy them off of ebay then they are £50 for three (x3), then plus £10 postage £60 total, so if you buy them in store at rowlands then you are paying £75 for the three (x3) boxs. so this is saving you a total of £5 per box or even more if you purchase it online from rowlands.
hope this is a help to any one.0 -
i'm not very knowledgeable about nutrition but thought low carb was the basis of CS, however on reading the nutritional content on the pack of shakes , it seems they have as much carbs as bread, pasta, etc , have i got this wrong? ( though the main thing is that it seems to work, well done to all the successful dieters on the plan )0
