Waz wondering the same re atkins bars and sugar free drinks myself. Anyone????
Well I'm finishing my day 3 and found it a bit better today. Hate the shakes made up with cold water - love them as a hot drink. Love the beef (?) soup and chicken one as well although they don't taste like chicken or beef :-)
Have also treated myself to some atkins bars but don;doit want to have them until I know if they are a snack or a meal !!! Finding it easier than I thought I would be struggling with evenings which is when I usually snack on sweets and drink vino. How are you doing?

I started having the Atkins bars after reading previous posts on here, and it seems that the Advantage bars are meals (similar size to CS bars) and others are snacks i.e. Endulge and Break bars.
I must admit I fell off the wagon today - was going shopping straight from work and found some cheese twists at work that were on their use-by date so troffed some of them. Although, I was surprised to see that they were only 4g of carb each, which is great for pastry, but that just meant that I had some more, ha ha! For dinner I had loads of roasted veg n chicken, but then ate a large Double Decker that I'd bought as a treat for a friend the other week as she was supposed to be coming over. But, I resisted it for over two weeks so I'm proud of that, and I'm not going to beat myself up over it. Trouble is there's another one still in the cupbaord.....0 -
Hi all, i'm on day 6 now and i'm feeling abit better than i did yesterday,i was so tired(anyone else had that?) i barely slept the night before ,my energy levels were thru the roof.At 3.30 i was wide awake and not sure if its the diet or something else.Still religously following this so it'll be interesting to see what i've lost when i weigh myself tommorow (in my head iv already lost about 5 stone,gonna be sooo disapointed lol).
Though id let you all know aswell that tesco are doing a pk of 5 atkins bars for £3.70ish ,i bought the cappuccino nut and choc chip,there also doing low carb shakes for 99p,thought id mention it as they may be handy for someone.
Benny i get mine from there online pharmacy just go on the celeb slim website and theyll guide you through.
Nikki,thanks for all the info,you mentioned suppliments?what should i be taking.Im taking multibionta multivits and Zinc ace,is this enough?Its really handy to know about the tiers as i was unsure what to do when the eight weeks r up and now have a better idea especially if the pounds pile back on.
Shaggers,sounds like your doing ok,aslong as the weights coming off somewhere then your still losing so thats what counts.How long have you been doing this?you should be allowed the occasional treats and be able to enjoy them without feeling guilty (i think its guilt that causes the majority of weight gain after dieting ) so dont beat urself up,eat it,enjoy it and say mm mm that was a good treat,ill have that again in a week or so and thats that.I get what you mean too bout the speed,i had been thinking that myself,i just put another order in haha(cheap drugs lol,if only i knew bout these when i was a wild one;)).Lucky you going to glasto i'm soo jealous,you should take the bars but aswell let it go a little too.
Sukey,have you weighed yourself yet?sounds like youve lost a ton in gas atleast (bigger hole in the ozone layer now u rotter:rotfl:!!),im not farty at all ,or had headaches or bad breath,im one of those lucky people that dont get hangovers either (ohh get fat when i eat cake sooo not that lucky).
Ali ,im pretty sure sugar free cordial/diluting juice should be treated the same as diet soft drinks ie:limited to one a day in the first week ect.The bars are half for a snack ,all for a meal,not sure if that applies to Atkins ect or just CS bars.
Im gonna weigh my wee fat bumbalee the morra,shall let you know how i get on,so after my long bleather (god, i can talk when i have a mind!!)I'm away now to get organised.TTFN.All I can do is be me, whoever that is :think:

appletart was ill laughing at you yes the ozone layer definately got bigger, this is day 6 for me too weigh day tomorow, well i can honestly say ive had it all this week headaches, bad breath, fatigue and not to mention my farting, ive still been feeling quite hungry all the time and im drinking loads of water im not keen on fizzy drinks, but def think i still need a glass of my sugar free squash as i dont drink tea and coffee either, i drink alcohol i wonder if thats on the plan lol. had the beef and veg soup wasnt keen really, whats the chicken like or any other nice soups? i love the atkins advantage choc brownie bar its lovely not so keen on the decandence bar but il eat it as a last resort, il be back tomorow with my weigh results, im noticing when im having my proper meal having tuna and egg salad tonight mmmmm i can put my knife and fork down and chew my food properly instead of ramming it down like theres no tomorrow like i used too lol. x
keep up the good work guys and girls and keep posting weightloss

Thanks for the advice appletart - oops been having an atkins day bar as afternoon snack. never mind - do feel that I have lost some weight and am trying to stay away from the dreaded scales till Tuesday.
Fatigue seems to have hit me big time today (day 4) can't keep my eyes open and everything a huge effort! Hope this will pass soon.

i am soo glad i weighed myself today ,i was thinking about NOT as i have started my periods and as my rings have been tight since yesterday i thought that id be a bit disheartened if my weight was same or more since last friday.But,well its not,thank flippers for that !!
Ali 5,the tiredness passes,only lasts a day or so and then you get loads of energy so its well worth sticking too.Read up on it and 2 glasses max a day of sugar free cordial but none of reg cordial.
Sukey,good luck on the weigh -in misses,just make sure you let a good one out before you jump on hehe.Oh and try this site for low carb to integrate into the CS diet try avidlite ( co.uk ) -(thanks to another poster) i purchased the dietmeal caramel pud/shake,dietmeal caramel bars abd ciaocarb pasta (for when i really really really wantazigazigah,erm a mac cheese or spag bol lol -got carried away there !!)I got five free lowcarb sweeties and ive only had one (Ament i brill:A).
Shaggers ,i'm off on a night out next week ,i'm normally a brandy and coke kinda chick have no idea what to drink now .Any advice?obviously want to avoid cals in drink as erm the kebab i usually drop a few times is calorific enough as it is.If i have to forgo the kabab to have the bevvy then i suppose then ill just have too (god i feel all weepy now ).Alcheyhol must come 1st.All I can do is be me, whoever that is :think:

1st weigh in today 6 pounds down and ive lost 3.5 inches of my waist in a week in unbelievable am so happy, i sometimes find it difficult because i work nightshift so its quite difficult adjusting my eating patterns but im pleased at week ones results.0 -

Thanks for the website address appletart - will look up in a minute. Can sympathise with your night out. We've got an afternoon presentation on Sunday for my sons footie team and it always turns into a boozie day. Am gonna take my own food instead of getting stuck into the buffet and will try and stick to gin and slimline tonic with a glass of water inbetween. Easier said than done !!!!!!!:D
Will let you all know on Monday how my first weeks weightloss has gone.
