Could you use standard whey protein shake used for body building instead? Or are there essential additives in this that /i would need?
  • Hi Bmouthboyo, i believe there are special additives in CS shakes. There is whey in them which then swell when you drink the water which stops you getting hungry.
  • Hi again all,
I'm really loving this diet and would recommend it. You have to follow the rules but they are easy. I've just finished week 6 and have lost 13 lbs (only 12 to go now which I am on track to do by Christmas). As with many things it's about planning. I really like the shakes and the soups are ok when I need something warm and comforting for the evening. It fits my lifestyle as well - I'm a teacher and so out on duty at break and lunch so don't have a lunch break - just drinking a shake works perfectly for me. Weekends where we've not planned anything are harder so it's just made me be more active!

The evening meals have been relatively easy in that we eat pretty much the same and I do extra veggies to have instead of potatoes/rice/pasta/bread.

As well as fitting into my clothes again and feeling better about myself I am also sleeping better and feeling much more alert when I wake in a morning. All in all I'm really pleased. I'm not saying there haven't been days where I've struggled - there have, especially in week 5, but the results are really motivating.

Good luck to all considering this. I'd love to know how others are still doing - especially the million dollar question: have you kept it off?!?
  • Just bought some celebrity slim off amazon for £8,.99 , short date but doesnt matter as i wil start them straight away lol

Right I am going to have a go at this! I bought a weeks supply off amazon for 8.99 and its arrived I will start tomorrow as have been doing my own diet since last Sunday and want to see if I have lost any weight on it! I weighed 14st 9lb last sunday and am 5'5 with a BMI of 34! Classed as obese! That hurt!
Anyway as I dint buy a starter pack I havent got all the info but have been gathering it from here and the CS forums so hopefully will be ok and if I get on with it I will buy more! The only thing is I only eat chicken and turkey, no red meat, as I was veggie once but after pregnancy still craved chicken so caved and now call myslef a birdetarian! lol So other than repetitive meals does anyone think this will be a problem?

  • I bought 2 weeks worth off the most recent Groupon and I'm waiting for it to arrive. Problem is, it'll be 2 weeks worth of only Strawberry flavour shakes!

Any tips on how to make them get less repetitve after a few days - has anybody tried putting them in the blender with some fruit to make smoothies? (I'm sure this has been mentioned before though, but this is a huge thread so it's a lot to go through!)

Thinking of trying this, how much would you say it costs a month and are there any weekly packs you can buy ( so that I can just buy 4 of them) ?

Thanks in advance for any help.
