not quite sure what can be added to the contents of the thread really - my favourite flavour shakes are the caramel, banana and vanilla ones - the vanilla and choc ones are good hot too
utilise the CS website - there are lots of hints and tips for what to do to make it more interesting, and what to do if you are still hungry - that kind of thing. Or look through here again - there are lots of tips between this thread and the low carb thread which should help you there?
hope you had a fab holiday - good luck with CS !!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Hi everyone, I am stopping C/S today
I,ve developed a very itchy rash on my back and chest. Did some googling and its appears to be a rare side effect for some people on low carb diets (Typically 2nd -3rd week). Some think its build up of ketones, some reaction to artifical sweetner. Whatever, It apparently goes once you stop the diet. So its back to healthy eating and......I carnt bear to type it... EXERCISE
.
I dont want to put anyone off, C/S is a great diet and I,ve lost 10 lbs in 3 weeks so a great start for my stone goal.
I wish everyone a happy, healthy and speedy weight loss Love Jo Jo x
A special thank you to Spaine:) i'll be checking in end of the week to see how you did.0 -
jo.jo
Good Luck with the E word !! and I hope the rash disappears soon.
Had a fainting spell at the weekend, so tucked into a carby flapjack and pepsi. Think that has more to do with putting my back out moving a bag of compost.
So I've started the week 0.6lb up .. fingers crossed I can get to that stone mark by Friday0 -
oh gosh, you are good jojo - I get that, but i get itchy from time to time (drives me nuts!!) and i just get cross, itch like !!!!!!y and ignore it!!!
very good luck xxxDo not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Hi I was wondering if anyone on here could help me I've been humming and haring about doing Celebrity slim for about 4 weeks but just can't get round the expense of it.
However today whille shopping at Asda I saw a new weight loss programe called 'weight drop' which has the same shakes, bars and soups so I bought them, when I got home I looked it up on the internet to find out how to follow the diet and it's saying I have to purchase through the site to find out details (It cost's alot well over £100!!!!).
So as in principle it's the same as celebrity slim could someone please tell me how much fluid I should be drinking and also how many calories should be in my 'real food' meal??
wish I'd just gone down the CS route now - nothing I do seems to go smoothly.:beer:0 -
Fluids - as much as possible(water mostly - and if you drink tea or coffee, decaff is better - black or with cream)and then drink some more (yes - you will become best mates with your toilet!!),otherwise something very bungy will happen (trust us - most of us on this thread would agree..!!)
as for your evening meal, its more a case of making things low carb - not counting calories, so meat/fish (or veggie equiv) and veg, no potatoes/pasta/rice - those sorts of things. there is a CS website with a forum where you can get ideas from - or look on the low carb thread on here....

bit disappointed with myself this week for not hitting the 1stone mark
My own fault .. seemed to be on a self-sabotage week
End of Wk10 and my lowest loss (but its still an overall loss for the week) of -0.2lb
So that now makes it 13.4lb loss overall.
Message to self .. no sneaking a cookie or having rice and noodles !!0 -
Thats a bloody good loss overall though - and it does go in waves...
well done !!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Thankyou trudij
Yes your right ...should focus on the positive .. I am happy with the progress .. probably feeling a little impatient :rotfl:as I'm so close to that milestone.0
