Hi everyone, first time I have joined a forum but I have been inspired by all your posts. I had my first CS shake this morning (vanilla) weighed in at 12st 8lbs and hoping to lose a stone for my hols in 6 weeks.(usually leave till last minute an end up on cabbage soup diet- this sounds much better) Does anyone know if fruit teas are ok?
Green Tea is ok, I drink Green Tea with apple and pear.
I did CS a while ago and lost 1 1/2 stone, been off the diet for 5 weeks and not put any weight on, back on it now and lost 7lbs this week ! ! ! !
There are some great recipes on the CS Australian website, even the kids love the Cheesy Mince Bake and the Beef Stroganoff"Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards "0 -
Well the bread must not have done too much harm-I am starting the 6th day on CS and I have already lost 5lbs-I have cheated a couple of times,I had half a chicken with skin on one night after 7pm tut tut plus a few dollops of coleslaw lol i couldn't resist and i also had 6 slices of weightwatchers bread but either way 5lbs n under a week=RESULT HAHA I am combing this with excercise0

Welcome Bellyx3 Id go easy on the carbs, you,ve done great so far but I think C/S works best by keeping carbs to a minimum, and within the allowed choices. (bread and coleslaw were,nt included when I looked- I wish they were- LOL).
Kayla 99 Im off to buy flavoured green tea does it count towards my 2 lts a day? Well done on your fantastic weigth loss.0 -
Hi everyone:wave:,
I have been reading this thread on and off since after xmas and have finally decided to give CS a go. I'm now on day 8 and feeling a bit disheartened. I'm not hungry which is a plus. I have been following it to the letter and definately drinking all the water but haven't had a great weight loss so far. I have only lost 3.5lbs and after reading everyone else's great weight losses in the first week am wondering whether to bother! It is pretty expensive if it isn't going to give the weight loss I thought it would do. I do think it is a good diet as it takes the thought out of it and also I do feel full after the shakes which are really nice - wondering if anyone else had a slow first week but a better second?
Also where are teenie d, trudji and angel jenny now? (sorry feel like I know you!) hope you are doing well as you guy's were part of the reason I joined!
Sorry been a bit of a miserable post!!:(

Welcome bectorious
I think you said some really positive things in your post...your not hungry,:rotfl: Before I started this diet I was contstantly hungry, I'd eat a sandwich whilst waiting for my tea to cook. Also it tastes great and no thinking about every meal, normally Iam planning lunch as I eat breckie.
Keeping it up for now all these success posts must keep you going. Let us know your next weigh in. (I am not on commission from C/S -promise)0 -
Hi Jo Jo,
thanks for your reply - i did loose 2" from bust waist and hips! think i just thoght it was a miracle diet!! lol :rotfl:0 -
Hey Bec - Im still about, but Im low carbing more than anything else at t he moment. Ive still got my shakes though - they are fab for breakfast, cos i can make it up, shake it on my way to the car,and drink it on the way to the horses!!!! Really struggle with the getting up to cook something for breakfast when Im low carbing - so the shakes are better.
I just cant get back into the idea of doing CS full time again yet - I want to, because it is the first diet that really does do what it claims to - but I prefer the being able ot eat !!!
Huge hugs though - and well done, you are doing great !!
xxDo not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -

Can you have avocado as your allowable snack? Also I got some be good to yourself prawn cocktail which is really low in carbs and nice for an allowable snack - I had it with avocado tho and it was delish but not sure if that might have been too much!
How is everyone else doing? Not many people posting at the mo?? xxx0
