Hi Guys,
Does anyone else suffer with constipation on this diet? Any idea's on curing it?
Take care
V
Hi Vicky sorry you are feeling like this. Drink your water then drink some more-I know it's hard drinking so much water but it will help. Like someone else said your fruit and veg should help.
You can get fibre sachets from CS but personally I didn't actually think they worked for me I felt more bloated with them.
One other thing I can suggest is the Atkins Bars-they have a slight laxative affect, it may not work but hey they taste yummy and if you are feeling rough it might just be what you need.
Weigh day for me but according to my scales I have stayed the same again! I feel a difference in my clothes though so not sure if the scales are just not registering a loss yet? Was out at the weekend and drank lots so I am assuming it is down to that. I have been doing a LOT of exercise so I was hoping that would have compensated for it. Wish I could get back to losing the weight like I did before!
Good luck everyone!"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
Hi everyone glad to hear ur all doing so well. I'm on week 4 now and I'm still loving it. Had my 3rd weigh in on Monday and I've lost a stone I'm over the moon. Wish I'd took measurements tho coz I've definately lost inches. My " skinny" jeans ( my smallest pair" are now far to big!
Suffering big time from constipation though and think that this could be impackting on my weight. Tried veg and plenty fruit anyone got anyother advice. Seems to be reoccuring.
Keep up the good work guys and stick at it the results are worth it xx0 -
Hi
Fourth weigh in and another teeny tiny 1.25lbs gone. Starting to get frustrated now, it was the same last week. I have lost 12lbs and have 2lbs to go to my initial target, but it is so slooow.
I haven't been exercising though, so I am going to drag my !!! to the gym today because I am off work and have no excuse...0 -
well i'm on day four now only had the one headache and that was tueday night, really liking this diet, i find it quite easy, not like any other diet ive been on, but hey it's only day 4 lol! weighed my self for the first time last night (i should have done it when i started i know, but i couldn't face it) looks like i'm dead on 16 stone, thought i was abit more than that to be honest so wasn't to much of a shock athough i still felt like crying
. good luck to everyone
and well done on the weightlosses. x x

Well done Sofia!:) For me getting on the scales for the first time was the hardest part. How I look forward to it and I love watching the weight fall of. Just made a break through, my other half just brought mcdonalds in for everyone(everyone but me of course) and I didn't even have one chip! I'm a big lover of mcdonalds (which is partly to blame for where I am now) so I'm chuffed with myself!
Keep going girls and keep posting, ur my inspiration! Xx0 -
Morning,
Just finished week 2 and plodding onto week 3 :j
Wk1 - 3.6lb loss
Wk2 - 2.0lb loss (+ lost 4cm from my waist) :j
Still motivated as week 1 and enjoying the healthy eating.
First Target to reach 10st and a healthy bmi of 25 .. still got 11lb's to shift.
Been monitoring my daily weight and keeping my food diary.. Noticed this week that I had 3 days where I stayed the same and 2 days where the weight dropped.. strange how your body works !! Interesting though !! Get a bit disappointed with no change, but then again if I did a weekly weigh-in I would see the 2lb loss and be happy with that ... staying positive .. any loss is a loss !!0 -
my weakness is mcdonalds to!!!
my fella gets one all the time, an i swear ..he puts on like no weight! you should see the amount he eats aswell! not fair!! lol.
im on day five now, i work in the job centre and its mad mad busy ive been struggling to have the two shakes i tend to have just one for breakfast and just grab an allowable snack when i can for lunch then just go home and have a healthy tea... i know i'm not eating enough, but i just don't have the time...do you think it will affect my weight loss?
people don't seem to be posting much on here anymore which is sad
googd luck to you all guys x x0 -
Great to join like minded people. My daughter and I are on day six and feeling great as CS is so easy. Love the shakes and soups. Starting to get more energy and walked to the shop instead of driving which is so good for me as have spent the last year feeling tired and lethargic.
Is great to read thru old posts as they are very motivating so thanks to you all. Keep up the good work.0 -
Hi Everyone!
I hope you are all doing really well!
I have a confession to make...........I have really fallen off the diet wagon recently! I started CS in October and up until January I had lost 29 pounds but for some reason I just haven’t been able to stick to it. I have put a couple of pounds back on  but I am going to be dedicated and I will really stick to it from now on!
I also want to get back into exercising as I stopped due to injury and am now struggling to find time for it. I don’t know how people manage to fit everything into their lives! In between working full time, home stuff and studying I don’t know where exercise fits into it. :j
Fingers crossed I am back on the diet full time. It seemed so easy for the first couple of months! I have a long way to go as I want to lose 2 or 3 more stones but hopefully all or at least most of it will be off by summer. I promised myself I wouldn’t have another fat birthday!

Hi AJ:wave:
Good to see you back again. I must admit I am the same as you I am really struggling to get back to it 100%. I do really well during the week but the weekends have been a problem with me so far, we either have something on or like yesterday we had a really cr*p week and ended up haivng a take away! I am so desperate to get back to it properly as i have spent a LOT of money on it so far and if I don't stick to it we can't really afford for me to stay on it.
We do have a lot of things going on at the mo and there has been a bit of stress but that shouldn't be an excuse, don't know about anyone else but when something bad happens the first thing I want to do is reach for junk food:(.
I am going to have to keep posting more often like i did before to keep me motivated.
Really hope we can both get back to it and we will be 2-3 stone lighter by summer!;)"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0
