Thanks Sarah :A wise words I know

To be honest I thought he ticked a good few boxes but irrelevant when I clearly didn't tick his :o The thing that gets me is you never get to find out what you did wrong  Too keen, not keen enough? Too chatty? Too fat? Too old? Too boring :confused:

:naughty: Less of this "what you did wrong", eh? A "no" doesn't mean you are any less fab; it's just that this one, for whatever reason, wasn't the right one.

Sarah is right about quality over quantity. It would be lovely to escape a ration of frogs and go straight to the prince. (Fully equipped with great lingerie, of course. ;))

Hope that your last day at work passes quickly and without hassle, and that you have a lovely week off. :A Take care of yourself.

  • That sounds like a fab plan for the week. Depending on the extent of your house-doctoring, you may get a bonus extra; after all my wombling this week, I've lost 7 pounds (a combination of three flights of house-stairmaster, lifting and being too tired to eat). I am really envious of the wardrobe-Gokking plans; I would love to do this, but firstly Gok would need to be able to get into my wardrobe...that's the next project here...

Glad you had a great night out, which is clearly just what was needed. I wholeheartedly endorse the "have some fun" component of the plan. You really deserve it - go and enjoy!

    Have a sunshiney week...

  • Hello Shoe Gal

Sarah and Holly have said some very wise things and I do agree with them, I just wanted you know you aren't the only one who thinks that about themselves. I don't seem to manage the whole men thing and also have evidence to "prove it". No dates at all this year, I don't even have anyone I can fancy!

I know you only have to meet the one guy and it happens when you least expect it and all that.

To be honest I find spending some time with friends really helps, it takes my mind off everything. I have had a couple of good times with my friends recently and I see you had some fun too! hope your hangover is ok now ;)

I also think the master plan sounds excellent (apart from th boot camp bit!!)

    enjoy your time off

    Buffyxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.
