Hi Shoe Gal, hope you are feeling better today and managed to find something fun to do. :D Are you joining us in the matched betting thing? I have realised I am not going to make my fortune:rolleyes: but it might be fun for a bit of extra spending money or to put towards your card?

    Thanks Sarah

Didn't manage anything 'fun' last night - fell asleep at 9.30 - and then woke at 3.30 still on the sofa

Don't think I'll be doing matched betting - sounds too complicated and time comsuming for me

Well the early night didn't happen!

Feeling pretty mixed up and very silly :o Made a fool of myself over a guy, usual story - I thought he liked me, and actually he didn't!

Whilst I know that I am not attractive and blokes don't fancy me (never really worked out why, but it's definately true) every time I think I have accepted it and got my head around the fact that I will always be alone I start kidding myself that somebody likes me

Don't worry Shoe Gal, we've all done it. No need to feel silly.:grouphug: I read something yesterday which went along the lines of "relationships are like fights, you win some you lose some," which made me feel a lot better actually, because you will win some of the time.

Of course blokes fancy you! You haven't been single your whole life, just because this one didn't it doesn't mean no one does. :naughty: You are a lovely fabulous woman and don't let one person have this effect on you.

I am still up if you want to PM me, hope you are ok.

    Thanks Sarah :A

I have a track record of 3 dates in 4 years :o and never a 2nd date  Today I have beaten my own record - and didn't even get the 1st date :o - which meant no new shoes :rotfl::rotfl:

With a record like that I need to accept that I will always be single

Nothing, but nothing, ever means no more shoes. It actually means more new shoes to cheer yourself up.:D

 You don't have to have lots of successful first dates to meet someone. You just need one successful first date. icon7.gif It doesn't matter abot the others. I know what you mean, but you shouldn't write off the idea that someone is out there for you. You get what you focus on, so focus on being fab (not difficult:D) and meeting someone you would like to be with.

If you are honest, did he really tick every box? Or did you just think he was nice enough? Think of all the people trapped with someone who was nice enough and are now bored to tears. At least you are free to start something new straight away with no freaking drama.

Thanks Sarah :A wise words I know

To be honest I thought he ticked a good few boxes but irrelevant when I clearly didn't tick his :o The thing that gets me is you never get to find out what you did wrong  Too keen, not keen enough? Too chatty? Too fat? Too old? Too boring :confused:

Not sending the leopard print undies back though :j They are silk, tasteful and I love them - who cares if it's only me that sees them :D

Have to go to bed now, still have to get through work tomorrow before my week off

    Thanks for your kindness :D
