So here I am all alone typing this from sunny US of A .............NOT, its really cold, raining and very windy I'm watching the palm trees bending in the wind

Flights were extremly boring and long and not sleeping for 25 hours is not fun. But the hotel I'm staying for the first 2 nights is lovely and has a huge comfy bed, so plan to have a snooze this afternoon after finding somewhere to eat for dinner.

BF has a 2nd viewing today, in fact he will have had it by now (just worked out time in UK)

Made an mortgage OP of £1K, this is from a combination of cutting back on shopping, council tax money, and basically not going out for 3 months. In fact the first 4 social outings of the year are 3 this weekend and 1 next weekend, so with being abroad means I can't go. Though must remember to get some vouchers for cousin as one of the things I'm missing is an engagement party

So mortgage is now under £18K :T

Wierdly as I'm getting into the taxi on Saturday BF starts asking about bathroom blind, the blind that has been down for over a year. So I might have a nice surprise when I get back (or a nice mess)

Been back in England for a week and am suffering with extreme tiredness but have made it to the weekend, with a grand total of 62 hours overtime (pity its flat rate) so will have nearly 2 weeks extra money, that will either be paid off the mortgage or spent on fun. Expenses have been inputed so need that to hit bank account before credit card bill arrives

Dad's pacemaker op got cancelled as they suggested he see another heart specialist about having laser treatment on his heart instead, so they made the appointment for Thursday, turns out laser treatment wouldn't be suitable so now we have to wait for another date for the pacemaker op

Waiting for mortgage statement to arrive, to see how accurate my spreadsheet is and to see in black and white what the amount is. BF has OP his mortgage to so he is now in his £30's, granted high 30's but there all the same, so total mortgages are £46K to go

BF has also been promoted :T so still need to go out and celebrate that, we thinking off venturing out to Manchester today but it looks like it is going to rain and I don't feel like getting wet

Weight still the same, glad I didn't put any on whilst away (did have 1 sneaky beer) so back to being good

Since my power of suggestion hasn't worked on the BF I'm off to make a cup of tea :)

Another week flown by, still suffering from tiredness but at least work flew by as it was so busy

ISA has been transferred to Halifax to take advantage of the 3.2% so think it will be about 2 weeks before the money hits the new account but they say they will pay interest from the day I signed the transfer forms.
Asked for a look at my mortgage balance and it was £16xxx, so excited that they had me in the 16's I forgot to remember the rest of the balance.
My spreadsheet has me in the low £17's

Went for an 8 mile walk yesterday, broken up by a lovely salad in a Italian restaurant and a pint of lime/lemonade in a pub. Caught some sun on the walk

You are barely going to have a mortgage at all when you move into the new place. Great news it is so low.

Cuba - sounds great. Slightly jealous. ;)

I hope our mortgage is really tiny, don't want to think about starting all over again, but we do keep looking at big houses :rotfl:

Got home from BF's and next door neighbour got me, apparently a family where knocking on my door over the weekend, then knocked on neighbours to ask lots of questions about the road/my house, they commented how lovely it seemed, then said they would get in touch with the estate agents

Does this mean the EA will ring tomorrow to arrange a viewing

Spent the last 3 hours cleaning :rotfl:
