Thank you, Thank you and Thank you

I love having a moan on here and then logging on again to lots of nice messages, its like having a virtual hug

Have had a brilliant 8 hour sleep last night cuddled up to BF

New bank card arrived in post, the cash machine ate my card as it had expired. The bank forgot to send me a new one

In-laws arrived and BF's dad has fixed electrics in kitchen, think the "live" socket" was the reason why it kept tripping out , and this has finally killed the circuit breaker. So £35 later I have power, I'm like a little kid I keep turning the hot tap on. Can't wait to have a shower later on

Old rotten floor is out of the outhouse, 80% of it taken to the tip. New flooring and lino bought so BF and his Dad are in the process of putting the new floor in

I have been busy and have made a lasagna for tea so just need to chuck it in the oven. Plus I have even done the front and back garden and cleaned the house

Radish is feeling so much better x

    You sound it, as well!

It sounds like today has remedied many of the problems you had (except stupid banks!), so I'm glad things are looking a bit brighter. :)

And yes, it is like a virtual hug on here, isn't it? *Hugs Radish*

Here's hoping Sunday is as problem-solving as Saturday. :D

And also very nice neighbour who lent me his chainsaw, even though I have never had a conversation with him just the occasionally Hi in the morning if I see him

    Todays plan

    Tip run with rubbish

Shop for some stuff and paint (going to give the outhouse a bit of a make over since it has now had a new window, floor and lino, as I hated having to show viewers it)

    Put lino down

Buy neighbour some beer for loan of chainsaw

Debate now is do I buy a new shed, old shed falling apart, door only held on by one hinge, but could then put all stuff that is currently in the outhouse (tools, lawn mover) in the shed. Which then means could stage the outhouse to look a bit like a sun room where you could have breakfast

Money v worst part of house looks a lot better

    I think I'm doomed :rotfl:

Spent this morning being sick so now tucked up on sofa with hot water bottle and blanket

But managed the tip run, shop for paint and stuff.

Ceiling has been sealed, most of the walls are painted but had to give up as the paint smell was making me feel sick, hole filled in with some expanding foam

Shed decision made, as the wind caught the door, slammed it into my back and then the door fell off

BF has gone home as he has house viewing tomorrow and needs to tidy, but he's coming back on Wednesday to help do some more.

So I really need to finish walls and ceiling so we can do the lino on Wed but not today :)

So the day I've been waiting for all week is finally here and I'm sat at home feeling sorry for myself, what a pants week

Cash point eats my bank card
New window fitted but fitter goes through floor as its rotten in outhouse
    Electrics go off in kitchen
Have spent 3 days having a flannel wash as no electrics, means no boiler which means no shower
Toilet has started sounding like an elephant when you flush
Found bedroom socket had been wired up with live going to earth, trying to work out how I haven't been killed
Think I have to go back to the USA for work

Had a viewing :T, who liked the house but their buying it for family and they are not over for a few weeks to have a look so will have to continue to be tidy

Plus point BF has just arrived (scaring me to death) and is now on the phone to his dad talking through my fuse board.

So I'm left wondering where all my get up and go, has gone, feel drained and have no fight left in me. Poor BF has had the "I'm a girl" card played on him as feel like I just want to be looked after

Think this is definitely going on the "Reasons why sometimes living on your own is rubbish"

Oh Radish, it sounds awful but from reading your posts I know that you can deal with anything hun, much more than I can. I'm useless at stuff like that. I just break down and then realise that it has to be done and I am the only one that can do it so I tell myself to stop moaning and just get on with it! I had tip run no 6 today, rubbish from the garden. I just look at it and dont even want to start! But needs must and noone else is going to do it (although I am paying a friend of a friend to weed for me tomorrow, I have to have some treats lol and that work being done for me is a treat!!)
It is definitely rubbish being on your own when things start going wrong. I wish I had someone to look after me
Hope you feel better soon hun x
