Sorry you've been feeling rubbish Radish but you really are doing brilliantly. Your house will definitely sell, fear not
How far apart do you and bf live? I had in mind that it was a really long wayUpdating soon...0 -
Erm we only live 40 minutes away from each other, so could have moved in to 1 house a long time ago, but neither off us fancy the driving every day
Back from the Lakes, tanned, tired and needing a rest, lots of walking :j eating :j and drinking :j so I'm not getting on the scales tomorrow
We were not very MSE, two meals out, we got the wrong bill, both where in our favour, but honestly prevailed and we pointed put the mistake.. We did get a free bottle of wine in 1 restaurant as they forgot to put in the food order so we had to wait 30 mins.
The Uncle phoned on last night he couldn't make the hotel he booked 20 minutes up the road so did we want an extra night as he wouldn't get his money back, so off we drove to a £200/night room . Made the most of the spa bath/double shower and had a lovely posh night
Yesterday went to see Dad, one £20K pacemaker fitted, 25 stitches and instructions not to lift left arm higher than his shoulder, he says he doesn't feel any different but is now known as bionic dad. Plus he looks all black/blue across his chest and arms where the drips where put in. My mum looked in a worse state than my dad but she is a worry wart
Not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow, back to reality, washing, ironing, shopping, cooking, living aloneMortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

Glad the holiday was good and yay on the extra posh night for free!
How long would your work commute be if you guys moved into the middle? Any more viewers/hopefuls?
Glad your dad seems to be okay- poor mum tho, I reckon its always as hard watching someone go through that and not having any control over it! Hope he makes a good recovery - like the new nickname!0 -
The break sounds great. Our weight loss comp - i was at 175.8Ib this morning as i have not been that good all week with the kids tempting me. Go on, weigh in, it might not be as bad as you think.
Glad to hear your dads op went well.0 -
Dad doing really well, getting more movement in his arm without any pain, and the bruising is starting to fade so is managing to do a bit more
Cat had been MOT'ed and serviced, it did pass but the two front tyres were nearly bald so they have been sorted. Just need to book it in again for the CAM belt £185 and some other bits. Luckily the overtime from USA trip will pay for this so bank account wont be to dwindled.
Take That were amazing specially Robbie and really enjoyed the Pet Shop Boys
Mentioned at work about OP my mortgage and had the expected responses, that I should spend the money on better things, nice things, holidays instead of the mortgage, All the people have children so have other expenses which I don't which does help with the OPing. But then I thought so do a lot of you on here and you all do amazingly
BF has had a 2nd viewing but no news yet and a house in my road that was "sold" is now back on the market at a lower price than mine
And that's about all for this weekMortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

OPing your mortgage came up in discussion at my work a while ago. I was talking to two senior, higher paid individuals (both with families) and it was them who brought the topic up and then spent the next few minutes encouraging me to pay my mortgage off early too.0 -
Glad to hear your Dad is getting on well.
