pink thats one of my biggest flaws, i cant waste food because i have seriously struggled with money int eh past (only just debt free) and i dont like to chuck any of it out!!
Even yestday i cooked dinner and then felt sick and didnt want it and i debated whether to chuck it away/put in fridge or just eat it anyway - why would i debate that?! Surely i am feeling sick so i should just not eat it. LOL I did manage to leave it in the end - in the fridge for another day lol...BCT:[strike]£16,500 [/strike] £0 HFC CURRYS: [strike]£520[/strike] £0 HFC PC WORLD: [strike]£800[/strike] £0 ARGOS CARD: [strike]£795[/strike] £0 ADDITIONS DIRECT: [strike]£625[/strike] £0 NATIONWIDE CC: [strike]£1560[/strike] £0 VIRGIN CC: [strike]£1500[/strike] £0 :j0 -

Better news for me today! I lost the pound that went on yesterday and it took another one with it (nice of it!), so currently down to 294 pounds or 21 stone exactly! :eek:Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

I have yet to enter anything on the calorie count thing - I need to get my head round it:rolleyes:
Last night I used the Remoska and cooked a turkey escalope with some chunky oven chips and served them up with the remainder of the tin of baked beans (I had some on toast on New Years Day) - instead of putting these on a dinner plate I put it on a side plate (my side plates are not dinner plate sized but not teeny either) and I immediately though "I am not going to eat all that" - afters was a satsuma.
Today, I had a grilled bacon sandwich for lunch and dinner might be spag bol - can't decide yet. I have already cut back my sugar intake - in 06 I only had 1 spoon of sugar in my drinks but then I got stressed and lost my job so food went out of the window and in came sugar 2 heaped teaspoons of it in all my drinks - I just cut it back to one that is slightly less heaped.:j0 -
Even small steps like reducing the sugar will help Horace! After all a level tsp of sugar is 16 kcals, two heaped will be three times that! Depending how many cups of tea/coffee a day you have that can soon mount up.Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

I have found having one treat a day rather than denying myself everything yummy is better
Yesterday it was some key lime pie, today a small chocolate bar!0 -
I used to allow myself a "day off" when I was doing WeightWatchers. Lost over three stone with them but haven't been able to go regularly due to travelling for work, and the pounds have piled back on!
Might try snowbrow's "treat a day" instead, hopefully that way I won't be tempted to have a huge binge because I've "already messed up that day", if you see what I mean...0 -
Can I join too? Not sure my starting weight- will weigh first thing in the morning then post.
Love the treat a day idea- I also find having a nice long bath in the evening helps me stay out of the fridge.
Any other top tips from folks?

Well today was my first day back on track after best part of 3 weeks, let me tell you its been hard! I'm a member of WW and I've logging on their tracker and also trying out the CalorieCount website to see how they compare. Its interesting to see how many calories I burn through normal activity, will start some exercise on Monday when I'm feeling better (got a cold!) so I'll see what happens.
Breakfast - Shreddies with skimmed milk
Lunch - Heinz Cream of Chicken Soup and 3 ryvitas
Dinner - Pasta, HM Bolegnese, little cheese
Snack - Half a Banana
According to CalorieCount my nutritional profile for today is A-! We'll have to see how long it lasts!
Keep going everyone, we can do this if we stick together!0
