Hi folks, good to see such a good turn out!

Dragon, you have my sympathy - I had a rough day yesterday, so stayed in my pj's wrapped up on my recliner, and ate very little..... so WHY oh WHY have the scales gone UP by 2lbs this morning??????? Since I've been charting my progress, all the 'up' spikes have coincided with being unwell. There is no justice in the world!

Oh well, today I went shopping and must have walked for miles, and tomorrow I'm going into Manchester by train, which will involve more walking, so hopefully that should get the scales going in the right direction.

I also haven't been logging all my calories in and out as carefully as I should - which is a mistake, because that really works for me. If I know I have to log that chocolate/crisp/biscuit I tend not to bother, or to go for fruit instead.

BTW - one thing that really helped me thru socialising over Christmas was to eat whatever I wanted - but to only have half the portion that I would normally. I did that for everything, even down to halving mince pies. I'm out for lunch tomorrow, so I'll do that again. I also have to refuse all bread, as I put weight on just by smelling a starchy carb :o

Good luck for the weekend everyone.... remember, think abaout what you place on your lips, as it may show on your hips, come Monday's Weigh-in ;)

Well logging everything has worked for me! Yesterday I managed to get to 560kcals - today I have managed to get over 1,100! According to Calorie Count I should have 2,450 so I have a little way to go but I am still doing better than yesterday!

Roll on Tuesday when Dr Dragon and myself meet a friend and we are headed to Wagamama for lunch - huge bowl of veggie noodles should help me calorie intake :rotfl:

I'll join too, lost loads to get to goal weight but 10lbs or so has crept back on (galloped over xmas!) so must get back on the wagon. I need to check my weight in morning but starting back tomorrow, will weigh in on Monday. I've done WW in past (6 stone) but have signed up for caloriecount that OP linked, I've never done calories before so should be interesting to me and therefore I might stick to it for a while!!!!
    Best of British to all!
