Any contact with Euro would be a waste of a stamp and a waste of time. You don't need a Solicitor on that, believe what we have said, this is a scam and you can safely ignore it. Forget the Euro ticket completely, it's like a phishing email, just delete it from your mind and ignore any debt collector letters relating to it. Nothing will happen to you at all, the Solicitor is being over-careful.

But your priority MUST now be the REAL Council ticket and the BAILIFF!! Don't give anyone 7 days, you must act now.

Pleeease click on the link I gave you to pepipoo and post today, about your real ticket/bailiff situation.

Also, hide your cars NOW, park them elsewhere, the bailiffs can clamp them if they see them and then you'd have to pay out. You need to make clear to pepipoo which letters you have received, by showing pics of them (council PCN, appeals, NTO, Charge Cert, Order for Recovery, Bailiff letter). On the link I gave above, look first at the stickies 'READ THIS FIRST' and 'how to post pictures' and then go ahead, register and post.

You could save yourself hundreds of pounds if you can act on the Order for Recovery in time you can get this set back to NTO stage and the bailiffs called off. You need pepipoo advice now.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I recevied a Notice to Owner after i sent my first appeal letter, i called them after i received the NTO and was told my appeal had not been received, i then wrote a new appeal in reference to the NTO and called a few days later to confirm they received it, the lady i spoke to acknowledged receipt, although i only have her word on the phone which i guess does not constitute as proof, i then received a further letter, i then called again and spoke to a man who said there was no record of my letters.

I then sent an email which was responded to about three and a half weeks later by letter stating that as my letters had not been received i had lost my chance to appeal and therefore had to pay the fine, it then said i would be sent some forms which i had to fill in (it didn't specifically mention they were court forms but i'm now assuming that's what they were) i never received these forms or anything else until i received the bailiffs letter. So to clarify i have not recevied any forms from the court in order to enter a defence etc.

    .
In your previous post, you said ' i then received a further letter' ie this was before you had a letter in response to your email.

What did that first letter say?

Thanks for your advise, i'll post details on the forum you have suggested later this evening as i'm expecting guests to arrive shortly. I'm going to call the council on Monday to see how this can be resolved. Obviously time is of the essence and unless i get any advice to the contrary on pepipoo i think i might just pay it as i'm rather anxious about it. On Tuesday morning I'm actually going away for a couple of days so if bailiffs do come round they won't be able to clamp my car because it won't be at home. My main worry is that i live in a shared house with three other people apart from they stigma of having bailiffs knocking on the door after me, i don't want to put any of them in an awkward position. I lock my bedroom door when i'm not in the house and bar food in the kitchen and stuff in the bathroom all of my belongings are kept in my room. So even if one of my housemates let them in they wouldn't be able to get to my stuff.

Can they actually clamp my car? I thought that bailiffs could only remove items to the value of what is owed (currently £93.16 according to their letter), my car is obviously worth more than that. Plus i need my car for my business so again i thought they weren't allowed to remove items that were 'essential' or needed in order to carry out a job whether it be employment or in my case self-employment. I don't know alot about bailiffs to be honest, this is the first time i've had any sort of bailiff letter so my only knowledge of them is what i've read over the weekend on the internet and stuff i've seen on tv.

Sorry i might have been a little confusing in what i wrote or just confused myself while i was writing.

NCC - a ticket on my car

Me - called the number on the ticket immediately but was told to send a letter

Me - i sent an appeal letter

NCC -I received a 'you haven't paid, your fine has increased' letter

Me - I called and was told that my appeal had not been entered onto the system and i should wait for the NTO and then appeal again explaining that my first letter had been lost.

    NCC -I received the NTO

Me - Sent second appeal letter, explaining what had apparently happened to the first

Me - A couple of days after sending the letter i called to check it had arrived, was told there was a back log and to call again in a couple of days. I did and was told it had been received and that they would look at me claim and send a reply.

NCC - I received a Charge Certificate (just found this in with my car insurance/MOT/Tax docs)

Me - Called to find out what was going on as i had received the CC but had not had a response to my two letters, told to put it in writing and given an email address that i could send stuff to instead of using the post.

Me - I then sent a lengthy email complaining about the fact that my letters had gone astray, despite one being acknowledged over the phone, reiterating my appeal etc.

NCC - Almost four weeks later received a letter in response to my email telling me i would receive the TE3 and TE9 forms (the letter i quoted above)

Me - Waited for the forms which didn't arrive

Bailiffs - Letter demanding money by return of post or they'd send the boys round.

Me - Emailed NCC because they had already closed on Friday (i plan to call first thing in the morning)

Me - Called the bailiffs which didn't get me anywhere other than the girl i spoke to being really rude and repeating over and over that i needed to pay and eventually told me to speak to the council.

Hope this clears things up a bit, some of what i wrote before was from memory so sorry if it was confusing, i've just got everything out and reread through all of the letters to and from NCC.

Was one of the final forms an 'Order for Recovery'? Post about it on pepipoo with all pictures tonight.

Your car could be clamped overnight I believe, hide it now.

I have never received an Order of Recovery. It is mentioned in one of their letters as the form i would receive along with the Witness Statement but i waited and it never arrived. Just about to post on the other forum for some advice, i can't scan copies of the letters into my computer because my scanner is playing up all i can do is copy the wording. Up until the letter i received responding to my email the correspondence i did receive was pretty standard carbon copy stuff they send everyone.

How likely is it that they will clamp my car overnight? Wouldn't the bailiffs attempt to knock on the door/gain entry to the house first? I can't really park anywhere other than outside my house as the streets are permit parking and if i park on another street i risk another parking ticket because my permit only allows me to park on my street. If it is as serious as this then i think i might just cave in and pay the Council over the phone when i ring them tomorrow. Is there any chance of them reducing the £93 to the original £25 or £50 fine?

I would have happily (probably wrong use of the word) paid the £25 if my initial appeal had been dealt with correctly and been refused. It was a long shot to appeal against it anyway as i know i was in the wrong but thought that they might have appreciated that i needed to get change and was only away from my car for the length of time it took me to cross the road and buy a can of coke from the shop to get change.

Try taking a photo of the document instead, most phones have cameras these days, think you need to turn the macro on for it to be close enough for documents.
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Well you can decrease the file size in photoshop or other such program, make sure you are saving to jpeg as the file sizes are quite small in comparison to raw files.

Most good cameras have a macro feature, use that.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
