I am not sure if anyone can help me but I have a question (I think I know the answer but am asking anyway- just in case!)

Have just applied for a DRO friday, I paid the £90 and am awaiting confirmation that its all going through.

I included all my debts but not my utilities, why? because I didn't realise I was in £250 arrears!

As I have had the forms submitted, have paid the barcode already, is it too late now? can I get this utilities debt included in some way? or am I still stuck with that debt? does anyone know?

Unfortunately after the form have been submitted, it is too late to include other debts that you have omitted.

Hi, Im new to DRO. I would like to consider a DRO. However most of my debts are in joint names and the other party is AWOL. If the other party was to get a DRO, can I get mine?

help please, if I have debts of say £7500, plus in arrears with CSA (in debt) of £8000 although I cannot put csa debt on DRO would I have to include it as it would take me over the £15k upper limit

    Hi,

The debt should go on the form although your intermediary would mark it as an 'excluded debt' so it would not be counted towards the 15k limit.

    Hi Jo2000

You will have joint and several liability for the joint debts, so if one of you goes for a DRO they can still pursue the other party for the money owed, but if both of you were on separate DRO’s (assuming you qualify) the creditors could not pursue the debt.

    Hope this helps

  • Hello
My husband has one debt to Lloyds (roughly £1100.00) in his name only. His only income is Carers Allowance which is £53.10 per week.(our only other income is benefits which are in my name) could he apply for a DRO, or.... I will be applying for a DRO for my debts so could I include his debt in with my own DRO?
Thank you for any advice in advance
