Ive rung Halifax this evening, to be told she could only see limited information and that the account has advanced to BLS Collections.
Im currently on hold to them. When my DRO was approved the account was with Westcot, and they were made aware of the DRO by myself. BLS had no knowledge of it and neither did Halifax. BLS now have updated their systems with my DRO information.
When asked why the account number had been changed, no one could answer me! I asked Halifax to confirm the full account number as I only had the alst 4 digits as shown above, and she gave it to me, as far as i can remember the account number she gave me is the original account number of my bank account with them.
The woman at BLS is going to write to the relevant person who updates the credit file and asked me to ring back in 2 weeks, and they will be able to tell me whats happened! The bit that concerns me is that it is listed as a "new credit agreement" .... what new credit agreement!!!
I will update if i hear any more!:jEngaged 25/12/11 :j

Is it connected to this?On 10 September 2011, Lloyds Banking Group are implementing a major part of their integration programme.
Over next weekend all Halifax and Bank of Scotland (HBOS) current accounts and saving accounts are being migrated on to Lloyds TSB (LTSB) systems. New business opened in branch after this date will be opened on the LTSB system.
All HBOS current accounts already in Collections or Recoveries will move over to the LTSB system on this date.
What does this mean for you as money advisers or debt management companies?
You will notice two key changes:
Recoveries Customers - All current accounts currently with Blair Oliver & Scott will move over to be managed by BLS after 10 September
Collections Customers - All current accounts with Albion Collections will move to MHA
I wouldn't be surprised if the old Lloyds collectors (MHA, BLS) can't handle the reference numbers used by the old Halifax ones (Blair Oliver Scott & Albion) and so they are all changing.0 -
That seems to explain it a little more! I asked what date it was sent to BLS and they received it on the 12th September!
Would be interesting to know if anyone else finds a change to their credit file regarding this:jEngaged 25/12/11 :j

I paid my £90 fee on friday and on saturday i got a letter from a company asking for the money i owed lloyds. I'm confused if this means i now owe this company the money instead of lloyds, as it was lloyds i put on my application. i had previously had a letter from lloyds in-house debt collection team, mha or something? but this seems to be a different company
Anyone know what happens if from the time your application goes in and a debt gets passed to someone else, is that debt still written off?0 -

As far as i know yes it is.
I take it the DRO has now been approved?. Is your name on the Insolvency Registery website as being under a DRO?. If so then do not worry. If they call back tell them you are now under a DRO and will forward the DRO order number onto them when you receive the paperwork back from the IS. Do not under any circumstances agree to pay them anything as not doubt they will try..!!
If your name is not on the IS site, get back to whomever processed your DRO and see if they have any info for you. Be aware it can take a few days to be approved, sometimes longer if it gets flagged up for more thorough checks.0 -
I've checked the insolvency website and my name is now on there, haven't got a letter from them yet. Is the DRO number listed on the website the number i need to give creditors?0

Your name and details will appear on the Insolvency Service website before you receive the paperwork confirmation from the Official Receiver at the DRO Unit. The DRO number listed on here is the number you can give to creditors. Not one of mine has asked for me to send anything to them, all they have done is ask me for the number and date of the order!
You should receive it in a couple of days i would have thought, as more than likely it got into the post service on monday...
Also just to clarify...your debts are not written off yet, that doesn't happen until you have completed your 12 month moratorium period:jEngaged 25/12/11 :j

This might be a stupid quesiton, but once the 12 months is over, if you were to get a large sum from an inheritance for example, would they be able to revoke it still? or is it once the 12 months is over then its over.0 -

Once the 12 months is over its over! Unless the OR extends the order.
After 12 months, check the IS website, and it will tell you your discharged and the order is no longer active. After 12 months you have a fresh start!:jEngaged 25/12/11 :j

Nightmare!
A creditor is now saying the amount on mr DRO is lower than the actual amount i owe and is now asking for the difference to be paid.
Can the amount on a DRO be amended if it was incorrect?0
