It will be showing up on the Insolvency Service Website within 48 hours of the application being paid and received!

Mine was applied for on the wednesday, I received the letter with barcode on Thursday, paid this and sent the form back recorded tracked delivery that same day, and by Saturday morning my name was there and it was approved!

When was it applied and paid for?

31st of August, How do I see myself on the website to check?

Just I still keep getting the people I owe ringing me and they have not recieved any info from the insolvency agency.

Your Intermediary normally receives an e-mail the day after submission.

You appear on the Insolvency Service website probably the following day.

You get a letter from them after about three days.

    Cheers.......

It's alright I've just found myself. It's just no one seems to be aware of it yet. Do the insolvency agency contact them?

Yes, the contact details on your application are used (takes a few days). Of course if there is a collection agency involved, they won't be contacted if the Intermediary listed the debt owner (and vice versa). So be ready to send something with your DRO number on to anyone who queries this.

Looks like CCCS are after people to act as intermediaries.

  • I phoned Anglian Water today, to find out what i need to pay fortnightly, as the payment arrangement they have includes a payment to debt, and of course now i cant pay towards the debt. They didn't know that my DRO had been approved! I have been told now they know, they will contact me with how much i need to pay as they will close that account and open a new one!

I phoned a couple of the others and they didn't know either, so ive given them the DRO number so will see what happens now!

Im not phoning anymore unless they contact me now!

They wont process what is sent to them immediately, it may take them a week or two. You can photocopy your approval letter and send the copies round...

Well I can officially say I thoroughly enjoyed my break away thanks to my boyfriend! The most beneficial factor being that I was able to relax in the knowledge that my property would be ok!

I came home to the letter from the IS confirming everything,
