yeah..as soon as uve paid it let ur adviser know..:)
  • I received the letter with barcode, and a paper copy of the form.

The letter accompanying that said, i needed to sign the form and send that back to the IS service along with the payment at the post office, so i went straight to the post office, paid the £90, signed the form and sent that back to them with guarantee'd delivery for today!

My letter from the cab also said my case is now closed with them, and everything is with the IS now.

I will be checking for when they receive the letter with the post office tracking service!

Seem's things are slightly different with my CAB

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you. Keep an eye on the Insolvency Service website. Your name should appear sometime today or tomorrow:j:j

Yes - not really the way the DRO Unit would like the system to operate. But as long as you pay the barcode promptly (which you have) you should be OK.

The first notification of acceptance comes as an e-mail to the Intermediary. I try to phone the client within an hour or two of getting the e-mail. But it sounds like your CAB has already washed its hands of you!

So you'll have to check the website.
  • I think its because my case worker isn't the "trained" dro intermidary, and so i wasn't there when the application wasn't actually done online, as it was her supervisor who done it!

I have checked and the form has been delivered to the IS

Nothing has been straight forward with mine :( my initial meeting with the CAB was in january!!!!

I just hope all is ok and i can relax soon!

The application was put through the system on wednesday, the payment was made on thursday and they have the signed form today

I keep checking the IS website, but not seeing my name each time keeps worrying me! lol I hope its done soon!

  • I have just checked the IS register this morning, and I am so relieved to see my name on it :D:D:D

Thank u sooo much to everyone on here who has put up with me and my worries and questions, you have all been a great help!

My case has been going since january, its taken 9 months and my application process was much more long winded than any I have read here! So I'm glad that anyone who has the same nightmare as me can see that you will get in their end!

    So so pleased!!!! :D

    N1 caz.

Keep your DRO number to hand and should you get any calls from creditors, just inform them you are now under a DRO and give them that number. Some may still try to hassle you but just hang up :)
