I've just wrestled with it 4 10mins 2 get it all in the envelope.............had 2 resort 2 sellotape 2 hold the flap down!!! Very professional looking :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I've just re read my IS letter, if they read through it properly it's got a breakdown of all my benefits, so hopefully that will suffice. I've put in a polite covering letter asking them 2 contact me should they need anymore information xxx
if its a recent one then that should do it..if you send it tomorrow they should get it wednesday or thursday at the latest....did they say what happens next ?:question:

No, I guess I wait 2 hear that the DRO advisors had time 2 look at it, I would imagine they would let me know if there was any issues with it. I'm hoping I get 2 update the balances 2 b4 it goes through. I did put it all in my letter so fingers crossed. It is difficult dealing with it at arms length as u don't know what stage it's at when, like u did with CAB. I'm gonna get Sam 2 post it when he takes the dog out, the sooner the better!!:)
I am a Leo...& as such I will defend my "pride" ferociously....you have been warned!

Sorry, watching waking the dead! Sam's just taken it now. It's a free post so hopefully shouldn't cause any problems, that may be why they don't give u A4 envelopes as the postage would be higher, that's why it was a !!!!!! 2 fit in :rotfl:I'll give it a week & if I've heard nothing I'll do as u say & keep tracking it. I feel worn out, don't know if it's because of my tonsils or because of all the paperwork. But like u say it's done, I'm nervous now

hi didley squat....i have no idea if she will qualify, she may be able to get them at reduced costs...it shouldnt make any difference that she has applied for a dro as she is not asking for credit...tell her to have a word with someone from the CAB, they will be able to advise on whether she qualifies...sorry couldnt b more help....by the way she got her dro put thru quick, it wasnt long ago that you were asking for advice...tell her good luck, let us no when it gets approved...:):)

Thank you scarlet55, will do about the approval whenever it happens will let you know. :)

As regards her son she no longer qualifies for the 25% discount on council tax and she is worried about NOT including him on the form in case they come back and ask her why she isn't claiming the discount IYSWIM. She wants to tell the truth on the form which to be honest is what I would do..just hope it doesn't backfire in some way. Will advise her to contact CAB.

    Thank you once again.

i honestly dont think it will make any difference cuz what bored he gives her is to feed him, she will still be spending the same money on all her outgoings...just see what her adviser says...and its her son, not like she's took a lodger who pays her loads of money...hope she gets on ok ...:):):)
