I've just got back from my local "drop in" CAB. Guess what?................No available debt advisors available for the next 4 mths! :( The gentleman I saw was very helpful, but they cannot offer me their services, unless I can wait up to 6mths, 2 see a debt advisor & then the wait 2 put the DRO thru. He phoned a local solicitors who are operating a drop in debt advice service & they are also able to complete your dro , but u have 2 apply 4 legal aid! Also he told me I would have 2 go 2 court & submit the DRO through the system & that I would also have 2 deal with the OR personnally on the phone. I'm sticking with NDL......7wks doesn't seem that long now :)
omg thats a long time b.s yeah stick with ndl..has ur soa arrived ....:):):):)

I couldn't get my head round been sent 2 a solicitors & having 2 go thru all the extra rigmaroll b4 I could apply..........& I paid 4 a bloody taxi :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:The gent I spoke 2 (squeaked at) was gobsmacked at the waiting times 2, but I told him about not been able 2 get thru on the phone & he said he was surprised as he thought it was quieter at the moment.

I think I'm gonna stick with NDL. My forms have just arrived so I'll fill them in this afternoon & get them returned 2nite. They've been really good with me (NDL) it was me been impatient & I really did like the idea of dealing with some1 f2f. I cba going thru a solicitor tbh, I think it will be as long a process by the time I've sorted legal aid out etc. I'm just grateful we have these charitable organisations available 2 us. We're very fortunate xxx :)
