You seem to be well into the swing of things again - I think if my laptop were to die, I would have to get another one straight away - the cost of the laptop being instantly recouped from the MSE "work" that I do!

If I didn't come on here everyday, I hate to think how my financial state would take a turn for the worse

    Morning.

Have had a look at the vouchers from the daily mail and I think i can use most of them:) I am aiming to spend no more than £180 this month on food, hopefully less!

I have my £20 ready for hypnos challenge and am raring to go! As I have the day off on Monday and have things planned I will have to think about how I can get away without spending much of it.

I will be school uniform shopping, which obviously wont come out of the £20 and had also planned to spend some leftover birthday money getting a few tshirts. I am going to the cinema and my tickets are already booked but I am planning on having a drink before I go in so that I dont buy anything there:) I am looking forward to going into waterstones too, but have decided to just browse but make a note of any books I want to read and see if I can then find them at my local library or failing that stick them on my xmas list! Although I could eat lunch out on Monday, I will be making myself a lunchbox, so that I am not tempted to buy anything to eat and making myself a bottle of squash so I dont buy a drink!

The only think I will be paying for (hopefully) will be the parking:j

I will also be doing the food shopping as I would rather do it minus kids:D I will be making my list...and sticking to it!:)

Today I want to clean out and inventory my kitchen cupboards to make sure I dont buy anything from Tesco that I already have at home!

The ironing pile looks slightly smaller after yesterday, I am hoping to reduce it further today:rolleyes: Luckily the weather is good so I will get some washing dry on line, I dont know where all the clothes come from, the kids seem to make so much more washing when they are on holidays:confused: I have done one load of washing already this morning, will be putting another in shortly.

Right, another cuppa methinks and then Im going to wake the kids up!!!

I think the first one lasted me 15 days, and the second about 10 days......not as long as I had hoped!

I want this next £20 to last me until the end of the month - that is going to be tough going, but I am skint this month due to holidays etc so I really need to be strict with myself!

The key thing is that it makes you think "do I really need this" before you spend anything.

Remember, it is not a "you vs me" challenge, it is a challenge against yourself.....so if this £20 lasts you 5 days, then the challenge will be to make the next one last 6 days :D
