I wish lol, unfortunately R&R not quite the same when you have a hoard of kids dominating the tv and asking you for things every three seconds:), however, I am going to chill out big time tomorrow when they are all out for the day:D Really going to enjoy the cinema on my own, going to see The Proposal, bit of shopping (school uniforms - but im not worried what Im shopping for, more that Im shopping ALONE:j)November NSD's - 70

Gerrard butler im drooling like homer simpson now ...although i have heard his accent is a bit dodgy in this film ..

The weather is beautiful here this morning:) And I am looking forward to a day of 'me time':D
Have checked online banking and paid my PAD of £1 into my savings account towards the flooring for DD room! Not much I know but it all counts:)
I have a feeling I will be spending a small fortune today on school uniform, the kids also all need new socks, pants, shoes, wellies etc so as this will probably be my only chance to get out during the holidays I might as well get it all today.
I will say this one very quietly.....I may have to use the creditcard! There, Ive said it, by this afternoon I will be back in debt, but, by my reckoning, I can pay it all off next month, but as much as it kills me I will probably have to pay a months interest:eek:
This is what I really hate about having no savings!! You think you are sorted and it only takes one problem and you are back in the red again! Nevermind.
Anyway I am so looking forward to my browse in Waterstones:D I have my £20 at the ready and I will see how little I can spend on non essentials today!!!November NSD's - 70 -
great to see you are back jamie x0

This is the first chance Ive had to post since I got in....
I spent an absolute fortune today:( Mind you I did get practically everything I needed!! I haven't totted up all the receipts yet but I know its a lot!!! Will update as soon as I know the exact figure!!
I got my food shopping doneand used all my vouchers, I think I have enough food to last until the end of the month:D I will have to buy extras like bread and milk, fruit and veg but Im pretty sure I can get buy on about £40 I wish it could be less but we go through 4 pints of milk a day maybe more so thats where my main expense will be.
I will sit down tomorrow and write a list of exactly whats left to buy school uniform/winter clothes wise.
My dad made a great start in the garden today, he has built my composter and its fab!! He will be here again tomorrow doing some more work on the boarders.
Kids had great day out with their aunt, and younger two also had a good time! I really enjoyed the film, the cinema wasnt busy which was nice and easily found a parking space which can sometimes be a real pain to get one.
Quite worn out now from all that shopping:DNovember NSD's - 70 -
Oops on the spending.......but what you need to do now is to commit to making sure it is, indeed, paid off next month. The danger is that once you have something on the card, "just one more thing" won't make any difference.

Hypno - Yes it is very easy to do that, but have had a look at receipts and I have spent £138 over what I had budgeted for and I have adjusted September budget to account for this and pay it off in full and I will be able to pay it as soon as the bill comes in so no interest:j I do still need to buy a few more things and I had allocated a set amount of money out of September budget to cover any extras so I should be ok.
Spent only £1.30 of my £20 yesterday, at the carpark.:D I will be having a NSD today and the weather is yukky so wont be going out anywhere, plus I am still tired from yesterday!
Paid my PAD of £1 to DD flooring fund this morning, only £165 to go:eek: I will hopefully be able to up this next month to £2 per day:D I did want to get it done before the winter, but that means I will need to cut back a bit more in other places.
Going to tidy up my meal plan today and input those days that the kids arent here for certain meals. Found out last night that ex is going to take DS1&2 away for 3/4 days at end of august, this means I will be able to stretch the food even further!:D They are going to his fri and sat night this weekend and I had forgotten, so thats another few meals I wont be making.
Off to put a wash on and make another cuppa;)November NSD's - 70 -

elantan - I see you have decided on a debt to pay and a time frame! Good luck:j
Have spent a lot of today out in the garden helping my dad:) He has worked really hard and it looks great already! my apple trees have been moved into the new borders and hopefully will take ok.
I mowed the back lawn, much tidier now, but my back really aches! Tomorrow my dad will be coming back with the bark for the borders and that will really finish it off!
Im doing burgers and chips for the kids for tea tonight.
Food shopping yesterday came to: £57.95, So far this month I have spent less than £100!!! Am hoping this month will not go over £150 in total, which is really cheap for 5 people!November NSD's - 70
