Am totally shattered now after a busy day in the garden! Have some laundry to sort in a bit.

The new IKEA catalogue arrived today. I havent opened it yet, but will be sitting down with a cuppa later and mentally spending a fortune! Im not planning on going there until about october, but that does depend on funds, I dont see the point on travelling up there to only spend £50, I would rather go less often and get as much as I can.

Tomorrow I am planning a lazy ish day, my grandparents are visiting in the morning but after that we can chill out. DD has a party to go to on saturday, I have already got a prezzie, so need to wrap that.

Spoke to ex today, he is taking the boys away on 24th for 5 days:D It will be the longest I have ever been away from them!! But I am looking forward to the peace and quiet!!:)

Ooh my back still hurts this morning!

Have done my PAD of £1, and updated signature:) £6 towards DD flooring fund now:j £169 to go:rolleyes:

Managed my NSD yesterday:j Will be trying for another again today so still £18.70 left of my £20:beer: However I was really tempted to indulge in some chocolate last night, but managed not to give into temptation:A

Will either be doing chicken wraps or sausages for dinner, havent decided yet!

All kids are awake now so I might go for a nice bath to relax my back!

There was a lot of rain here last night! I was hoping for some as my garden really needed it, my dad moved my apple trees and Im not sure if they will take, have been watering them loads but they needed a good soaking! I think the wet weather has settled in for the day now...

Have done my PAD of £1, managed another NSD yesterday, so still only spent £1.30 of £20:)

DS3 is being taken out by his carer today for a few hours:) This means I can nip into town with DD and pick up a few more bits I need for school.

I have started my IKEA list:) At the moment there are only four things on it:eek: but I am sure that will increase:D

Did gas and electricity meter readings yesterday and input them into imeasure, hopefully in another couple of months they will reduce the direct debit as it is too high but over the winter it was too low, I hope eventually it will level itself out!

PAD of £3 this morning for fri/sat/sun. Total of £10 now:D

Spent another £1.30 on parking yesterday so leaves £17.40 out of £20! Know I will be spending some of this over the weekend. DS1&2 are off to their dads tonight for a long weekend so just me and little two. Kickboxing has now finished until september, so save a bit there.

My mum came round to visit yesterday which was nice, and my sister text me last night to say she has a week off next week, so will be trying to sort something out to get together. I dont get to see my niece very often so am looking forward to that!

Weather doesnt look that great this morning, but I think it might stay dry which is good as the washing pile has built up again!!!

Still havent sold the item I put on ebay so a bit disappointed, only 1 day to go!

Off to make a cuppa before the kids wake up!

Spent most of yesterday moving furniture around! Have totally reorganised the downstairs and am really pleased with the results:)

I have given up my 'dining room' so that the children now have their own den which means I get my front room back:j Eventually I will redecorate the front room and replace the furniture which is all old and second hand and desperately needs updating. The kids now have a tv and dvd player in their 'new' room (which came from the boys room, it wasnt being used as no ariel upstairs) so no expense there! It made more sense to do it like that, plus they get all the solid pine furniture which has taken so many knocks over the years from the kids, but is still standing (and will probably outlive me!) Kids are very hard on furniture!! Then I get the fun bit planning my grown up room:D

I will be going upto IKEA in september as soon as the kids go back to school:j

I have worked really hard on this house in the last 9 months and it is really starting to take shape!!! I have pretty much plowed all my spare money into it while the savings rate is so rubbish! Havent decided yet wether I will slow down next year or continue to do the same, that will depend on if the savings rate increases at all.

Right, better crack on with some housework! DD has a party at 1.30pm this afternoon so I want all my jobs done this morning!

A grown up room sounds good - I remember when my two were very small, we used to use our dining room as a "day room", then once the children were in bed, I would chuck the toys into the toybox/playpen, and shut the door on it, then go into the lounge which had been kept child and clutter free........bliss.

Of course, those were in the days before I lost a grip on my housework......now, I would struggle to find a little corner of sanity and tranquility!!

Im really looking forward to a child free room:D I guess when you have kids its the little things you appreciate the most!!!

I do find it especially hard with DS3, he cruises when he eats, which means I end up with food smears everywhere. Ive tried really hard to get him to eat at the table with the other kids but he wont have any of it as he will only eat either in his room or in a room with the tv on! By having a seperate kids room, with table, sofa and tv, it should be easy to keep him out of the front room. It is also the only room with carpet, and the kids have ruined this with spilt drinks and ds3's food accidents!

I am sooooo excited about having a adult front room! Its gonna be ages before I can do it up but at least it wont get any worse! Have been drooling over the Ikea catalogue already this morning:D ahhhhhh I can dream cant I? :D
