Morning:)
Pap - There is still another 4 weeks ish to go of the holidays, so not that soon lol
Sunshine and cloudy this morning, maybe a chance to get some more washing dry. We shall see!
Money is starting to look a bit better now I am back in control!! I will be spending today as I have had an offer of a kid sit so I can pop to tesco this evening. I will be only buying a few bits as I still want to use up what I already have in. There are still plenty of meals to be had from stocks!
I am starting to run low on a few bits but I am trying to make do or use alternatives!
Dinner this evening will be sausages. I have potatos and carrots in (baked beans for DS3) Im thinking maybe chilli for dinner tomorrow but need to check I have all I need to make that.
Hoping to do shop this evening on £20 or less.
Some phone calls and paperwork to do today and need to put all the childrens term dates into my calendar so I can throw away the school letters, been meaning to do this for a while but keeps slipping my mind!
Hope everyone has a great day!November NSD's - 70 -
What a beautiful sunny morning!:D
Went to tesco last night and spent £28.68!!! A bit more than I had intended however, I think I have enough meals to last us until tuesday now.
Interviewed a new girl to take care of DS3 for me yesterday, she works at his school as a classroom assistant in his class and he loves her to bits, which makes my job so much easier! Now I have 3 carers for DS3 which works out just great! I have also managed to organise a day off for myself on Monday:) Will probably go to chichester and make a start on the school uniform buying! I may also go and watch an afternoon film at the cinema!!!
DS1 has his maths lesson tonight and after that kickboxing. So there will be a bit of ferrying him around this evening.
I am on track for a good month as long as nothing major comes up that I havent accounted for.
Will be going back over budget later today to check!
I have listed one item on ebay and it has two watchers:) Im hoping this will go with no problems, I have a few more to list next week!
Hope everyone has a fab day!!!November NSD's - 70 -
Morning everyone!
Yesterday rained so hard most of the day, I feel sorry for the kids stuck indoors!
Decided to restart PAD this morning. I want to save for the flooring for DD bedroom, so started small with £3 (fri/sat/sun). I need about £170.
Wont be going anywhere much today as weather is miserable again!
I must tackle that huge ironing pile today!!!November NSD's - 70 -
Hiya JD
Snap with the weather and kids, they were so bored yesterday ! Going on hols tomorrow to Weymouth (courtesy of Mr T clubcard vouchers) - MIL and FIL coming to house/dog sit (saves us a fortune on kennel fees!) Didn't want to venture too far this year, usually go to Devon but didn't realise the road to the South West was so awful from here . Took us 8 hours to get home last year so decided we probably wouldn't be going again for a while and would try other places.
Still trying to save here too for decorating house but I need quite a bit as need new sofa (10 years old and broken) new carpets and new furniture. That's just the living room . Did kids bedrooms after we moved in but still need to do our bedroom, hall and landing, spare room and bathroom so quite a bit of savings needed I think .
Glad you've managed to find another carer for DS3 - enjoy your day off on Monday ! Maybe once kids are back to school we can meet up for that cuppa . We might get round to it by the year 2020 ! lol :rotfl:
:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -
Morning!!!
JTB - Have a lovely holiday! We are supposed to be going camping on 17th for 5 days but, if the weather is really awful we will be staying at home!!
Yes we really must have that cuppa! Will sort something out for when the kids go back to school!
I will be restarting the decorating in september, still loads to do! I have been concentrating on the garden while the kids have been off. My dad came over yesterday with some wood as he wants to do the boarders in my garden. He will be starting this next week! He will also be making my new composter, which will tidy up the garden a bit more!
DS1 has martial arts this morning so I will be taking and picking him up. Its sunny here this so I will be getting some washing done and getting it out on the line.
Have some watchers on ebay hopefully I will manage to sell! Must make a start on writing uniform list today. Dinner tonight will be pasta and pesto.
Off to make a cuppa.......November NSD's - 70 -
Have got loads of washing dry today, might put one more wash on and put on airer overnight.:)
Been browsing debt diaries this morning and am feeling very inspired! Going to do Hypno's £20 challenge, starting monday and see how far I get:)
Kids are quite happily playing after a morning of water fights in the garden!:D
I have been sorting out the laundry and have organised the ironing piles. will be making a start this evening!
Off to make a cuppa and then some more browsing!November NSD's - 70 -
Have just been to the darkest depths of my chest freezer to have a look and see what is there! I actually have far more meals than I anticipated:)
This is what I pulled out and have moved to the 'other freezer':
12 white baps
3 small packs of mince
potato smileys
waffles
party pack of sausage rolls
tortilla wraps
4 burgers
6 sausages
6 jumbo sausages
breaded fish portions
chips
chicken drumsticks
4 chicken breasts
bag fishfingers
1 portion of chilli
not too bad! I think I can make enough meals for a week out of that lot!!! Will be making a meal plan shortly to use this all up:)
Feels good knowing that my shopping bill will be fairly small again this week:jNovember NSD's - 70 -
Hi Jamie, nice to see you are having a relaxed weekend and catching up on mse. These is so much positive stuff to read though sometimes you are swamped  Anyways hope you are enjoying yourself. Good luck with your meal plans, I would love to know what you come up with :j
keep going you are doing so well :T0 -
thanks pap:)
i dont think i will be making anything all that exciting:) just the usual stuff the kids like! my primary aim is to reduce the amount of stuff i have in the freezer and to reduce this weeks food shop bill!
but, there is still quite a bit left in the freezer although i am sure it will become harder and harder to make meals out of it:D
I have done a rough draft of a weeks meal plan using my list of what i got out of the freezer, checking to see what i need to add to make a meal, then seeing if i already have it in my cupboards, i dont really need to buy much at all.
Hoever, i have the vouchers from todays daily mail and may well use them so i can save the money (£10 off £44 shop i think) which is quite a saving! so what is left in my freezer and cupboards plus what i can buy using the vouchers I may well be able to stretch to about 3 weeks worth of meals:D
I would be a very happy dodger if i can do that!!!November NSD's - 70
