Managed to pick up a bonnet for DD in town yesterday and some chicks to decorate it with and a few other bits, will crack on with that on sunday.

DD assembly was really good. They still look too small to be at school to me though!

Cooked a lovely dinner last night and afterwards I took the kids to the park and put DD bike in the boot. We had a whale of a time and blew off the cobwebs before bedtime:) Kids want to go again tonight but that depends on the weather as the park is right on the seafront!

Off to chichester today to pick up DS1 birthday prezzies. I already bought him some tshirts, hoping to get him some nice jeans today and a couple of other bits.

Paid £12.35 into Isa today, taking my total to £91:) Its amazing how fast it all builds up just by paying a little everyday!

I must start thinking about Ds3 birthday soon. Its on the 7th April. I would like to get him a bike this year. Will go and have a look to see what they have later on this week.

    Busy day yesterday!

Put deposit on bike for ds3 birthday, picking it up next friday. Bought rest of ds1 birthday prezzies and his cake.

Paid £11.36 into Isa this morning:) That new bathroom is getting closer:D

Took kids to park again after tea last night, was really windy but we had a good time! Was a big squeeze as normal to fit everyone in to my little fiesta, I cant wait to get new car because then we will be able to take longer trips:)

Am out with friends this weekend, already have money put by for sitter. I am also paying for ds1&2 to go to the cinema on saturday to watch Monsters v Aliens as part of ds1 bday present, I cant go as no one to watch ds3, but it is only at end of the road and I trust the boys to go together.

One more thing to get for ds1 now, just a helium balloon with teenager on which I will pick up tomorrow.

Lots to catch up on in the house today, so will be putting the music on and getting on with it:)

Off to car place today to collect forms which I have to take to JobCentre and get signed, apparently these put a stop on my DLA mobility payments so that money will then go direct to Vauxhall. Ive been told I will def get my car next week:)

Also will be popping into town to get DS1 Balloon:D Also need cellotape as I have run out and need to wrap his prezzies!

Made payment into Isa this morning of £16.94 this takes my Bathroom Fund up to £119.30:D Will probably only manage small amounts between tomorrow and the end of the month, as still have quite a few things to pay out for in March.

The usual chores around the house today, I want to get as much ironing done as possible this evening, as I am out tomorrow night. Havent got as much painting done this week as I had hoped, there is only a week left before the kids break up for easter, so will be trying to finish off a few odd jobs before then!

Had a mega busy few days so havent been posting.

Collected new car Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday morning someone keyed it in the school carpark:eek: took it back to the dealer and they are going to sort it out on friday morning. So annoyed.

Took the kids to the park again after dinner last night, its great having all that boot space for bikes/scooters/balls etc:)

Lost my purse at the weekend, luckily a really nice person handed it in to the police! Nothing was missing from it but I had already cancelled all my cards so currently have no access to my bank account. Hopefully new bank card will arrive soon. I have a little cash at home, so i am using that for the moment.

Have a full day at home planned for today, lots of housework and paperwork planned. Have a huge pile of ironing to get through too.

  • Jamie, I wondered where you got too  So sorry to hear about your new car  Will it cost you anything to get it repaired? What a pain about the purse too, really nice that it was handed in untouched though. Hope you new cards come soon.

    Have a good day :A

Great news on car & purse being handed in, not so good on being damaged.

Cant believe its been a week since I last posted!

Was my birthday on the 4th and I had a lovely day, spent with my kids and various friends and family popping in, I was truly spoiled.

Am now getting more used to the car and am loving having the space. I bought ds3 a bike for his birthday on the 7th, he was 8 years old!!! Now I have the space to take his bike in the car and take him to the park to ride it where it is safe and no roads.

The school holidays are going really fast! cant believe we have done almost a week already!

DS1&2 are off to their dads this afternoon for the whole weekend, so just me and little ones here. I am going out with my sisters for dinner tomorrow night so that should be really nice.

DD was really ill yesterday, I think it was a 24 hour bug, hoping the other kids dont get it!

    Thanks beanie:)

Have loads of housework to do today! Will be out all day tomorrow as I am taking the children plus my sister and her little boy to Marwell Zoo:) Really looking forward to that!!!

Must make sure camera is fully charged!!

Budget is plodding along nicely for April, I always have more money available later on in the month as most of my payments come out within the first two weeks.

Still saving for my bathroom, would like to be on track for having that done in May however, I have a few other things on my list which may well push that back to June.

Hope everyone had a lovely Easter?
