Donner - how did the bike ride go? sounds lovely!

Cat - Im still on a high from getting the letter:D

I managed to order the new cooker yesterday and it is being delivered and installed tomorrow:D It is going to look really great in the kitchen as the old one was a bit of a blot on the landscape after having the new kitchen installed in october.....im very excited!!!

    Plans for today -

    - Crack on with the housework, didnt get any done yesterday, so need to play catch up this morning.

    - try and fit in a foodshop, usually do it on a wednesday but am going to have to stay in all day tomorrow to wait for new cooker.

    - stack of ironing to do, usually do HHI per day but havent managed to get any done for 2 days so will put on last nights Heroes and get up to date this afternoon:)

    - Pop into B&Q and pick up more paint.....if I am going to be stuck in all day tomorrow, I might as well get some painting done:)

    Other small jobs.....

    - ring council for application for blue badge

    - pop into town hall as need to take in up to date tenancy agreement

    - go through paperwork, deal, file or ditch.

Cant think of anything else that needs doing today. Better crack on with lunchboxes now....

A motability car will make a huge difference to you JD. My mum had one for years for my disabled brother who died last year. No car tax to pay, no maintenance to pay,no new tyres, no insurance to pay - basically just petrol costs.:D
Make sure you get one big enough for you and all the kids - and if you need to pay a bigger deposit because of this there is always the motability charity which can sometimes help with these costs. They helped my brother as he had to have a wheelchair ramp installed in his.

    Good luck xx

Nice new cooker! I would sooo love one of those as would really try and keep it clean! My one is filthy!!! Beyond cleaning now!

Bike ride went very well. First 10 mins I hated it as couldn't even get up the hill and was really out of breath. But persevered and was loving it afterwards! Made me realise how unfit I am and how I have put on a fair few extra pounds. So am in a positive mood and mind set to shift it! :) Went out for a short run yesterday just to get my legs used to it again...I was in agony so must make sure I do another one on Thursday...start getting back into a routine!

Good luck with the painting! I still haven't done daughter's ceiling but plan to attack it very soon!

    Hi JD/everyone !

Sorry I've not been on much lately, things been pretty hectic here - sowing seeds ....... and more seeds .... and more digging ... you get the picture lol

Great news about the dla JD ... must be a bit of a weight off your shoulders? Not nice that you had to appeal but I'm so pleased it went your way xx

Glad to hear the house is coming along too, you should be really proud - I'm useless at any DIY, I quite envy you being able to do it all yourself. How are the chooks?

We must get together for that coffee sometime soon. Could do with an excuse to take some time out !

Am off for a soak in the bath and a bit of 'me' time .......... take care everyone and catch up with you all soon ! xxxx
