  • Well after all the cleaning and the sorting all my charity stuff out I felt dead from the neck down last night, but I got loads done I put on my hubbys ipod and boogied all the way through my cleaning it's amazing how much you get done and realising the time, so all the cleaning dancing make no wonder I felt half dead lastnight. Today I will be taking things easy and planting my seeds, hope the party goes well have fun. By the way I cant believe how picky charity shops are with the stuff you donate:eek:

    Hi everyone!

Finally feel like I have recovered from party on sunday! DD had a wonderful time and the party went really well. I had invited 40 kids but a few didnt turn up but never mind!

Sunday night I spent ironing all the uniforms, went to bed at ten pm totally shattered!!

Monday I did a bit of housework, took my car for its MOT.....it passed!!!:D I was so pleased as I had put away nearly £400 for this! I was still pretty tired monday evening, so I had an early night.

Yesterday I did the tasks on the flylady list and took a parcel to the PO, a book I had sold on Amazon:)

Its amazing how much a party and all that organising and cooking takes it out of you!! Must be getting old!!!!

Today I will be doing my usual flylady bits and pottering around the house taking it fairly easy! I have my trip to Ikea tomorrow to look forward to and want to write a list today, they have sent me a £10 off £60 spend voucher so will make sure I take advantage of that!!!

I am out Saturday night this week as I am going to a housewarming party, want to take something to drink with me so will pick that up on friday...

    Next week:

I have lots planned for next week! Now the party is out of the way I want to get back to decorating!!! Will be popping to B&Q on Monday to pick up some more painting supplies (emulsion, gloss and brushes!) I have the boys bedroom to filler and I expect its going to take a lot to do it!!!

Also on my list is finishing the final coat in the front room and glossing all the wood work in there. I hope to have done as much as I can in a week. Easter holidays are looming and I dont decorate when the children are off school!

This gives me three full weeks to achieve as much as I can before they break up!

    Off to Ikea this morning:D

Im not planning on buying anything furniture wise, just bits today. I have a voucher to use so will be getting a bargain there!

I must get back to writing every spend down as I have been a bit slack in March.... Although I have still tracked every debit card purchase, I haven't been getting receipts for some of my cash buys.

Better get these kiddies out of bed otherwise I am going to get behind this morning.....

  • Hi there JD if you dont mind me asking how did you get an Ikea voucher?? I went on Monday and joined the family club will it be from that? as I just shoved the leaflet they gave me in my bag and never got round to reading it:rolleyes: got some lovely kids bedding in green for my small bedroom hubby has painted the walls in apple white from Dulux and it looks lovely:j I am glossing the woodwork this morning cant wait to put new bedding on and curtains up. Got to tackle the cleaning of the garage today seen as I nearly broke my neck and nearly impailed myself on the garden rake whilst trying to get to the freezer:eek: I cant believe I let it get as bad as that, but it is used as a bit of a dumpimg ground....oh well best get on.......goes off to find her Ikea family card:D
    have a good day
