Had a brilliant time at Marwell today, the kids were really well behaved and all enjoyed themselves so much! Quite a costly day out but I havent taken them anywhere except camping in the last five years. Having the car meant I could take another adult along to help me with ds3.

Have loaded all the photos of the day on my facebook if anyone is interested send me a PM:)

Anyways, am shattered now! slowly getting all the kiddies to bed and then I will be chilling out for the rest of the evening. Have last night Heroes to watch:)

Well back to normality this morning as all the kids are off to school.

I havent got an awful lot done over the easter holidays as I find it a struggle to keep up with the washing, constant demands for food and general tidying up:)

We have had a lovely time together though and as much as I am looking forward to getting back to my routine, I will really miss them not being here during the day.

    Anyways....

I spoke to my friend who is doing my bathroom and we both agreed that it would be better for both of us if he was to do the bathroom the week we are away camping in august. This gives me a little more time to save for it and means we wont get in his way while the work is being done and we wont have any disruption either. Although I am desperate to get the work sorted, this is the perfect decision for both of us.

Just ten days left of April and money is looking pretty good. I am off to Ikea again on wednesday to get most of the furniture for DD bedroom:) I have a few decorating jobs to do this week, but am being kind to myself as I intend this week to be pretty chilled after the manic two weeks with the kids at home.

Off to chichester shopping with a friend tomorrow, mainly just window shopping although I need to get a new pair of school shoes for ds2 and trainers for ds3! I still have some birthday money left so I may spend that on a couple of new tshirts:)

Hope everyone has a good monday!

Off to Ikea this morning to get the furniture for DD bedroom:) Its going to look great when its finished:)

Went to chichester yesterday, managed to get ds2&3 shoes that I wanted and also a new football for the boys to take to the park. Got ds3 some ds games out of his birthday money so he enjoyed playing on those last night.

Booked in to have the roof bars put on the car next week, am researching the best roof box to get and will probably buy that early next month.

Monday again! Where are the weeks going to?

Having the roof bars put on the car on thursday this week. I won an auction on ebay and bought a second hand roof box:) will be collecting that on thursday evening.

Managed to book us in for camping trip during may half term at a lovely campsite we have been to before a few years ago. Our usual campsite doesnt take bookings which worries me slightly as we have turned up before and they have been full which meant we had to travel around for hours to find a campsite that could fit us in. Where we are going is fairly cheap too, actually one of the cheapest around so we are going for 3 nights. the kids are really looking forward to it! I also booked us in for another 3 nights for the first week of the summer holidays.

There are a few camping bits we need this year to add to our collection. I shall be getting those over the next few weeks.

Have been ridding our house of more clutter this last week. Cleaned out the shed this weekend and had a bit of a tidy up. Still quite a lot more to get rid of though!

After yesterdays disasterous muck up in the budget department, I left myself with only £52 for groceries, cleaning, toiletries and pet food to last 9 days.

Went to Tesco and spent 29.49, did a complete inventory of cupboard, fridge and freezer and a serious meal plan.

    Day one (Monday)

Made a chilli and rice for dinner for myself and ds1&2, leftovers made 4 more portions, 3 went in freezer for next monday night and 1 in fridge for ds2 on wednesday when we all have spaghetti bolognaise. DS3 & dd had a chicken burger, stars and baked beans as they find chilli to hot.

Angel delight from cupboard for puddings and I also made up a jelly in little pots for lunchboxes tuesday.

    Day Two (today)

Plan is to cook roast chicken this morning for dinner tonight and lots of baking. More goodies needed for lunchboxes this week.

Will have to go back to tesco later this week for milk, bread and cat food and fruit and anything else I have run out of! I can see myself spending another £15 on that lot which will leave me with less than a tenner to last until next wednesday morning when I get paid.

Also hope to do some more decluttering this week, I honestly dont know where it all comes from!!!

    Day 3

Had a lovely roast chicken last night with all the trimmings:) my yorkies rose so high, i put it down to the JO recipe I use which is fab!

Baked three trays of twinks which always go down a treat, kids will be having some of those in their lunchboxes today.

Had a NSD which was quite an achievement as I havent had one in a while!

Today we will be having spaghetti bolognaise for dinner, ds2 will be having leftover chilli from monday and ds3 will be having the spaghetti and cheese but no bologanise :D

Huge pile of ironing to get through, so that is on my list for today. I may make chocolate rice krispie cakes as I know the twinks wont last that long. Will also make up jellies for lunchboxes tomorrow.

Wont be a NSD today as really need to buy bread and milk, so may pop to tesco and spend a little more of whats left of the £52 budget.

    Other news:

DD is off to a school trip to the farm today, its her first ever school trip and she seems to be torn between being very excited and very scared!!

DS1 is back to school this morning after his bad upset tummy, he is still currently grounded and without laptop after his behaviour took a down turn last week, but we will see how he goes over the next three days at school and I may reconsider.

The airbeds I ordered at the weekend prior to banking muck up arrived yesterday! Kids wanted me to put them up straight away but I think I may do that when I have a peaceful half hour with no kids around as I think it would be too much temptation for them to want to bounce on them as they are being inflated:D

Four new items in yesterday 3 x airbeds and 1 x car pump, so I need to find 8 items to declutter today, and they have to be big ones!!!

I can hear squeaking of beds upstairs so I better get on with lunchbox making!
