For some odd reason I feel all down today - Despite both items from last night having been paid for and both are sat ready to be shipped first thing tomorrow - plenty of watchers on the DS game finishing tonight too - but still feeling down!
I wonder if it's just a come down from last nights euphoria and extreem tiredness from Roo bouncing in the belly until well gone 2am and then waking up again at 8:30? *sigh*
I know deep down it's probably hormonal and tiredness but I hate feeling this dejected
*sigh* Might go and see if I convince myself to have some breakfast and see if that makes me feel better...DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Morning all,
Sorry to hear that Maria. My OH had a CCJ i think years ago, I don't think our letting agent bothered with a real credit check though even though we paid for it as TBH i don't think he would have passed.
If you rent from a private landlord they won't check your credit hun x Our first flat was a private rent. Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
The house buying board guys have been very very helpful. I think my best bet is to stay here for 9 months watching house prices and saving like a nutter then see what is happening!:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heart

Most letting agents should do a credit check - I used to be one
The purpose is obviously to ensure you can afford the rent and that you have a good history of paying things on time.
Some letting agents will allow you to rent if you can provide a guarantor - they must then be credit checked and if you don't pay the rent or run off and leave the property damaged they will be responsible for the damage or money...
Private landlords will often merely ask you for a couple of references and a deposit - I would say if you have a poor score and can't get a guarantor then going through a private let is the best way - make sure you still get a proper tenancy agreement thoughDFW Nerd #025DFW no more!
