Yeah nicki im not sure what your housing form is like but on mine you can mark what areas you want to live in. And now theres a new thing down here anyway where you go online and all the housing avaible is on there and you choose what place you would like instead of them offering you a place. Then at end of month the person who has the most points (the more in need of a home the more points you have) who has marked they want to live in the place gets the house.

Thanks everyone. My mum was saying something about the council saying she had £17,100 in equity back in October, if that is actually the right amount with my dads redundancy pay & my savings we might possibly just be able to squeeze that, but I'll be down to nothing...again. That said it's worth it to stay living where I am, I think anyway... I don't know. My boyfriend (I think) is going to move to London soon because of his job, so if he does that would be over £80 a month just to see him, which I don't think I can afford. Geh.

That's a pain Maria, if your dad doesn't want you living there with a baby can't you do what all the teenage chavs do around here (not that I'm saying you're a chav), have a baby and tell the council you've been thrown out by your dad so they have to house you? I know it may seem slightly wrong, but as you genuinely can't have a baby where you are then I'd just go for it.
    Finally bought a home
