Eselt, so glad to see you back here, safe and sound if shaken up. Sounds like a really tough time you've been having.
Another AF day for me here so that's 11 in total. I'm going to try going to bed earlier now, see if that helps....0 -

So sorry to hear your bad news Eselt, I think you have done very well to recognise your reaction and try to get back on track. xGreyPilgrim wrote: »Top man! I need to stock up on the fizzy water...I'm down to 6 litres...and I'm totally out of lime cordial.
I'm a girl!
Good idea Patchoulli about the AF lager, I think I might get some of that and some lime cordial.:T

Put me down for 6 Lurkio, please. It's not been an easy night AF wise as I have been fancying a drink all night (still do) but managed to stick to water, one chocolate and two crackers. Reading the posts on here, it amazes me that some manage to cope with AF days on top of all the other problems life is throwing at them. Huge sympathy to eselt and winebox at the moment, you're an inspiration.0

Oh ESELT.
How we have all missed you.
I have just cried for you after reading your post. You havn't let yourself or anyone on here down at all.
I was only thinking the other day what would happen re alcohol if someone close to me died (morbid...but who can stop thoughts from happening).
I concluded that brandy would be my first port of call.....even after all this I think I would really NEED a drink.
Anyway, please be kind to yourself and keep posting. We need you on here.
Stay strong.
Lots of Love

Eselt, we all thank god you are ok. NO-ONE feels you have let them down. To get straight back on the wagon again is amazing. It must have taken so much hard work to get where you are now...don't let one blip ruin it for you. Keep on with positive thinking!!

Morning all,
Now 10 days AF for me, didnt feel at all well yesterday not sure if its lack of alcohol or I am getting a bug but headed to bed at 9 and only woke at 7 this morning so hopefully all the sleep will have helped.
I seem to be also drinking fizzy water, bought a stash of the 500ml bottles and I seem to be manageing at least 3 during my normal alcohol drinking time (ie 5 onwards).0 -
Morning AFers. 10 for me:j and now 5 days on the run.
Will be breaking the run today as I am out to dinner with some of my family for a birthday and I am looking forward to a glass or two of wine. No intention of having too much though as I am now pretty sure my tolerance will be lower and I dont want a hangover tomorrow. Will be a different test for me.
Take care all special thoughts to Winebox29th Feb Quit Day :j0
