Can the person doing the list put me down as target 28/28 (missed first three days). Success so far 8/8.
Money saved based on drinking Stella £56.
Money saved based on drinking foul tasting cider £26.72
Roughly 50/50 split for the last 6 months so I'm going to reckon on a typical £5 a day saving so that's £40 so far.0 -

3 cubes of (my daughters! ) milky bar from xmas
this is what i have had tonight! i am terrible, its a double edged sword because if i am drinking wine it kills my appetite, and when i dont drink ...well i think the above explains..

:j Hi Lurkio, sounds like the wagon is still well loaded:j
Another AF day for me today which makes 11/11.
For my birthday I got 3 bottles of malt whisky  and four bottles of Jennings beer including one of my all time favourite beers.
Don't get me wrong, the whisky has gone in the cupboard, I don't drink it unless I am in company except on a very rare occasion when I might have one.
But the beer is surprising me...It is standing next to the kettle and there it shall stay until the end of Lurkio's challenge. For some reason I know it will. I Haven't even thought about opening one :A .
Regarding the sleeping thread, I have always been a light sleeper, and in my recent - drinking - years have always struggled to get back to sleep after the essential trip to the toilet in the night. Even when that has been say at 4am. After 11 days I am pleased to report that that has passed. I am sleeping both sides of the toilet stop :T which I still seem to need.
So I say, keep perservering you night owls, hopefully it will improve for you, and maybe down a large mug of hot chocolate before you go to bed. [Disclaimer - these thoughts are my own, I don't work for a large hot beverage company...;) ]
g'nite all, sweet dreams...

Hi Budgetbabe! Yes, I love Squeeze!
Regarding the getting up in the night for the loo - I never did when I was drinking, I used to have to get up because I'd be so thirsty, and have to have a pint of water.
But now I have to get up for the loo, because I'm drinking so many soft drinks.
555 calories in a bottle of vino, that explains a lot. With the money we are saving (at least a fiver a day) hubby and I have joined our local fitness club - they've got a lovely pool and I used to love swimming, so hope to get back in the swing of it.
Have a good Monday everyone.

Hey guys
Hope you are all good. Another AF day for me so no idea what my score is but aiming for AF all week so lets see.
Tried a herbal tea before bed and an hour of chopping logs during day (seem ot have hurt back - large axe large bits wood it got stuck in doh - ten years ago I must have been much fitter. I wouldn't have blinked at doing a whole day of that before. Made me think.)
Take care guys xTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Yep, it is a good one to remember, especially if you are feeling weak/vulnerable. These are common reasons for people drinking again, and to an extent they are unavoidable0
