Not as good as last month but holidays are obviously a weak spot for me :rolleyes: Ho hum, onwards and upwards
Hope everyone is ok xx0 -
BarshamBilly - I was on anti-depressants for ages but was drinking at the same time. So basically they weren't working and decided to come of them. Felt even worse so have gone back on different one's. Going to do it this time though - no more booze - need to give these a chance to work. I think I'll still be smoking for a little while mind - but'll try to cut down.
Such a relief with the mortgage thing - and it actually turned out better than I thought. Going to work through some CBT exercises while I'm off and try to do a yoga class tomorrow.
Hope all are well.
Oh, and another AFD for me so I think thats 10. Not too bad really provided I'm AF for the rest of the month!!!

I think you are right Jon. The alcohol cancels out the AD's. I'm now back on the ones that did work, that I was taking before christmas. Fingers crossed that they should work even better now there is no beer involved.
Its quiet on here tonight - must have been my Frank Spencer impression that has put everyone off :rotfl:

I thought today - how hard this has been - but also remembered that prior to joining the thread here I hadn't had an AFD for over 10 years if not more I think. Whilst I am still struggling at the moment on a just about daily basis - I now know AFD's are possible. When I do drink I know how it feels - the depression, paranoia, self loathing etc having drunk lots or how its nice to wake up (albeit cream crackered) and first thing I wonder is IF I drank last night rather than HOW MUCH and what did I do. - Small steps
I know now that the paranioa, etc are a consequence of drinking which has been a huge eye-opener - I know cos you guys have all reassured, shared and been honest - thanks for that.
You guys are life changers you know - hugs and kisses to all of you xTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Hi everyone :hello:
Sorry but did not get to log on yesterday as so tired when I finished work and then had to go food shopping, got in cooked dinner and the could not keep awake so went to bed.
Gutted though that I missed the footie, as it was such a good game. My Ds is a Chelsea fan. Oh and that I missed coming on here.
I have an appointment at the doctors on Friday, my doctor is away so this will be with a new one. I did feel awful yesterday as playing catch up at work and feeling really mithered. I feel better today though so thats encouraging
Firstly thanks to: Jo, Bhb, Mp, Maman, Bsntc, and Hs. sorry I have been missing so to speak but I am back nowTalking of missing? Dear Lurky are you doing that bimbling thing again?
Hope you are ok mate? Hugs xxxxx

So 15 af days for me please when you update the scores, take care xxxxx
Ad1jnl glad that the meeting with the mortgage company and the cbt counsellor went well, you can get through this and come out the other side. Please do take care of yourself and keep posting as you do so need to have support at the moment. I wish you well my friend and please look after yourself. Hugs xxxxx
Bhb belated birthday wishes to Mrs Bhb, your pool sounds fun and sometimes thats all any of us need is to have fun. I think its so easy to forget this and we all get caught up in the dreary side of life. When my Ds was little and of course very cuteHe used to say to people: "You need more fun in you" very true don't you think? So hugs to you and Mrs Bhb, just make sure you treat her like a princess for awhile it goes along way you know, the little things in life
and well done on 10 af days :T hugs xxxxx
Mari welcome back and do keep posting I am sure we can help you get back on track. Stick with us kidSo take care and good luck. Hugs xxxxx
Jo you survived the dentist  and thanks for caringAlso I have read your posts and I so know that you want to change. My heart really does go out to you and I hope you find a way to be the person that you want to be? It is so hard to find the answer on how you are able to do this? I guess you can only look inside yourself and try and find the inner you. Sorry if this does not make much sense but I am a great believer in that things do come from within us and not just externally. Kind of feeding your soul? Sorry that probably sounds odd? But whatever it is I hope you find it and I hope you can be happy? Lots of love and I hope Dd birthday is now under control? Take care xxxxxxx
Winebox hugs and I hope that you are now having the turning point you have wanted. Good luck for the rest of the month and please do take care. xxxxx
Eselt, Mp, Gc, Fb, Maman and Stroppy hugs and lots of love to you. xxxxxx
BsNtc what can I say to my number one, thankyou for being you and for caring. You are a star, (a spinning shiny yellow one) Seriously you are a gemLots of love sweetheart xxxxxx
Fedup hugs to you and on the health front I before have been for Reiki and aromatherapy treatments though this can be expensive? You have been through such alot though of late, and I think you have to treat yourself kindly for a while. Getting the rest you need and trying to eat healthy will help. So do take care xxxxx
Upsy you are missing too? Hope you are ok? hugs xxxxx
Ok guys I must go now so hugs to everyone I have missed off and all of you take care/
God bless
Budgie xxxxxxxxxxxxxCherish the ones you love and travel back on the road that brings you home
