Good afternoon all!
Fedup - well done you! Roll on tomorrow when you hit target!:j
Eselt - I'm constantly fighting the nit battle too - I just use conditioner and a nit comb every three days. Gets on my nerves but don't know what else to do! I know a lot of people recommend tea-tree oil so may look into that.
Budgie - I hope you are having a FAB time with your DS. Make the most of every moment!:happyhear
Nirelandguy - welcome aboard! You'll find support here fantastic!
Well, we had a lovely time at my Mum and Dads last night. We had our fish n chip evening...me, OH, Mum, Dad, Nan, Stepkids and little boy. Had a really good time - lots of laughter which is always great. And then when when we came home me and my stepdaughter stayed up and watched Mamma Mia. Have to admit, at one point it did cross my mind that it would be nice to be sat watching it with a glass of wine. But the thought was only fleeting.
This weekend has been great actually - my stepkids are two lovely kids who are never any trouble. The munchkin this weekend however has been a NIGHTMARE. Normally this would drive me to drink but I find I'm a bit more patient lately (no hangover headache to make me irritable??) and I realise he's just over-excited. Roll on 7 o clock though when its his bedtime!!
I hope everyone else has had a good weekend. Weather here is lovely!!
Miss P

Since Xmas I have been getting to carried away with the old drinking, Well I say carried away half a dozen tins of larger every Sat night but still I want of it. I went off alcohol for a year and I don't know how I done it, It just seems such a hard thing to do now, once Sat comes I start getting the taste for it again
Welcome
Just say to yourself in the morning "I will not drink today"
And just do one day off the booze.
You can drink the next day, or decide you won't drink again, but that choice is to be made the next day. Take it one day at a time.
If you don't pick up that first drink, you won't get drunk.0 -
