Thanks for the good AF wishes sent over for tonight - don't know if I am going now as no-one told me what time it starts and where. Am quite happy if I don't go in some ways.

Also I have a weeks holiday booked for April and will have to think hard about my target for next month

Maman - plenty of space on the naughty bench, but think we are still doing brilliantly :T :j I will not drink next Monday, but I too have stuff going on on Tuesday so reckon that will be it

Maman and FUAS - Kind of glad I am not the only one with holiday in April IYSWIM :rolleyes: We are going to Edinburgh and will be away 6 nights.
The first night on 5th April I have splashed out as it is hubbys birthday and we are spending 1 night in The Witchery by The Castle :eek: :j I am so excited I can't breathe :rotfl: :rotfl: We are eating in their restaurant that night and apparently their wine 'list' is like a Bible :eek: so will def be drinking then.
Then we are using our air miles [very MSE ] for the next 4 nights accommodation [another reason we are treating ourselves on the first night] but eating out = drinking wine for me but I will try hard not to drink every night
On the way back down south [we're driving] we are stopping half way in a lovely old inn with an award winning restaurant - so I will def be sampling their wine then too

I think for cutting downers we are allowed to fall off the wagon on special occasions and holidays if we want to but it does mean I won't do so many AFD in April

Aww fluffy you will love it its so amazing!! I went with a customer once so all the pretty sparkly romanic lights were a bit wasted on me but that wine list is something to behold. The cellar is supposed to be spectacular. Bet you play the see who can find the most expensive wine game. I am also in Edinburgh in April so if you see a slighly odd looking yellow star dancing down princess street then give us a wave:rotfl:

Good sunny morning everyone,

Lots of peeps off on their holidays in April.Me too.We have lots of celebrations next week and are going to Anglesey in a cottage with log fire etc for some...peace and quiet;)
DH birthday April 1st, wedding anniversary on the 2nd and my birthday on 3rd......but I wont be drinking, because next week is a more important anniversary....ONE AF YEAR.
I really cant believe I have nearly done it...it has gone so quickly, but I know I couldnt have done it without the support of everyone on here..you are all wonderful.Before April 7th I am going to go all the way back to the old thread to have a read of my journey.See how I was feeling last year.I do know the last hangover I had was on my birthday as I drank too much on our 25th wedding anniversary and very nearly ruined all the celebrations.I promised myself that I would never feel like that again.....and I havn't.....and I wont.

I was really craving a drink yesterday evening so I went out for a brisk walk and I didn't take my purse so I couldn't buy anything from the offie. I am finding this online support very helpful and I woke up feeling bright and bushy tailed this morning.

The cottage sounds fantastic - just the sort of thing I would love too.It is my hubbys birthday on the 1st April too :eek: There's a coincidence!! He has a business meeting that night though, so we will probably share a bottle of wine on the Tuesday instead. Have a great holiday
