   I thought I was in a good mood; well I was but maybe the AF-ness has me on a short fuse...DD (9) only been in the house 2 mins & we've had a flare-up over her wanting to go straight on the PC...she had a friend round yest. which was a DS-fest (normally not allowed during the week), so I said no. Grrrr! Now she's in her room sulking. I shouldn't be this wound up but I hate coming down hard on her, but at the same time she's so RUDE to me...wot on earth is in store with the teenage years? Good job the house is wine-free, bet I would have succumbed if it was to hand but I'm not quite at the point of jumping in the car to go & buy some.

Sorry about the rant. Wine bell doing Big Ben impression.

Hi all- hope you are all OK- welcome new people, good luck, and congrats to our great acheivers- bis, molly, jo etc.

Someone asked about symptoms of liver problems earlier on (sorry to forget your name) and I need to let you know that I didn't have any liver problem symptoms- maybe just a bit of flu like symptoms and night sweats, but nothing major, not even a pain the side. First indication that something was very wrong was turning yellow and ending up in hospital with alcoholic hepatitis. Knocked me for six as I had no idea anything was wrong at all. Take care- the best bet is to get a Liver Function Test from GP who can let you know if your liver is struggling.

    Take care everyone

Gosh NTC you've a good memory - don't remember saying that myself!! (:o wonder why?) - pls put me down for 2 days I'm "safe" now full of food.

Bliss TV tonight - BBC1 7.30 - 10 (if I get downstairs now & find footie on instead there'll be trouble!! - nah, I know Hobbly & Mistresses I know it's carp can't help it are on) - hurrah! & I love lime & soda! Shame the soda's been open since, erm, August...some vague attempt to cut down by having spritzers.

Hope everyone else doing well today & tonight - good luck Stroppy hope you get day 1 done.

WB, can totally sympathise about DD, I've got one who's almost 17 and thinks she owns the place, in fact has done for the last 5 years  it's so tiring. Her and OH are still not talking which is making it worse.

Well done Betty, hope you can abstain another day (if you want to that is) :)

Did I hear someone mention creme eggs? :EasterBun I'm dying for choklit, just eaten my dinner which has been cooking since 7am this morning in the slow cooker, ridiculously early for dinner for me too WB, usually have it about 9pm!! So now I've eaten, I feel I'm at a loose end

    Where's that choklit??!

    xx
