  • I'm with Jo on this one Stroppy.

I found writing a list was quite helpful. Be completely honest on it. Eg I always found my...ahem...stomach was upset the morning after a bottle of wine. Not pleasant so that went on the "cons" side.

Yes, there was a couple of "pro's" but they were certainly outweighed by the cons.

I'm very lucky in the respect that my OH is teetotal (just doesn't like the taste of alcohol lucky beggar) so if I don't buy alcohol myself then there won't be any in the house!

    Good luck!

    Miss P

Well, had a meal out with friends from work last night. Normally we'd do this complicated thing of dropping cars off then having taxis get us all. But last night I drove. And it's liberating!! was home at a decent hour, without a headache and without having dropped mexican rice all down my cleavage like I normally do!!

    :rotfl:

I am still on 11 days and will be for February unfortunately so I didn't make my target this month.

I am going to revise my March target and make it 15 days AF instead of the previous 25. I think I will be setting myself up for failure if I set such a high target.

    Hope you are all okay.:A

    Hi All

Loved the 'big hugs' and I can certainly see what you mean 115K about the crude bits! :rotfl:

Welcome Stroppy. I'm another red wine lover. Fortunately on AF days I can cope with my OH drinking if he has a beer (which I don't like) but if he has red then I'm constantly eyeing up his glass.

It may seem really childish but the thought of a jumpy motivated me. Next month I must work towards the clapping as well!

I'm having a week off at the moment due to lots of planned socialising. I'll keep lurking over the weekend to keep up with you all but I'd like to say a big thank you to winebox for scoring February :T

and to NTC for volunteering to do March. Please put me down for 12/31 for March. Modest again, I know, but I know if I aim too high I'll end up obsessing about it. Have a good weekend everyone.

    To drown them out

one banana two banana three banana four

four bananas make a bunch and so do many more......

Take a large glass of water and remind yourself WHY you are cutting back. Write the reasons down if necessary. This is the time when you need to remember your motives......

    Good luck.......
