I thought perhaps it was that mischeavous Mr Lurkio changing it from group hug to threesome somehow...Wouldn't put it past him.
Personally though 115K, I don't mind which one you give ;)
    TRC

    :D LOL.

I didn't mean that I wanted to have a threesome with Budget Babe!:p I meant it in a friendly way, but not that friendly!:rotfl:

I want to sing ding dong the witch is dead back at those bells.

Ta Lurkio - some reasons ....thinking hard

    1 to get fitter
    2 to stop feeling carp
3 to stop beating myself up and being paranoid
4 cos it be nice to watch all of blackadder and see the younglings to bed
5 cos I am two days off my target
6 cos I want to set a good role model for my kids
7 cos I derserve to be happy not miserable
8 cos it won't make my life any less lonely (awwww)
9 cos I am not my Dad
10 to wake up on sat and not wonder what on earth I did/didn't do on Fri night

and cos its a habit - no to help me breathe, all it does is mask stuff, not deal with it

    Love that list Fay:T

    can I add
not to feel like I drink more than most people I know (and probably did)
not ever to hide how much I have drunk - if I am having a drink its within normal limits
not to waste a day to hangover
    not to send odd emails
to enjoy the 2 stone I am obviously going to put on (yup I am putting on weight not losing like the lubbly MP and GP)
not to worry about every bruise in case its my liver
not to get in the car hoping my system has got rid
mmmmm cutting down is sure good:T

Went out for my lunch and survived on a steak and ale pie with chips and 2 diet cokes:o I did find myself at one point starting to preach a bit about units in a large wine and all that, stopped short though as that is absolutely not the person I want to be around or want to be  So nearly there gang

    Evening all,

MP, click on the banana and it'll open up the site they came from. Glad you had a nice lunch and your friends are surprised by the new you...must've made you feel great! Hope I'm at that point in a years time. xx

HappyShopper birth.gif have a good one, if you can't be good....be sensible :D

    Evening everyone else

Fay, how you doing tonight, did you manage to ignore the wine bells?

I've had a tough night, the beer bell was ringing so loud since before 4pm and all the way home, I have no idea how I kept it together considering I had to stop at the local offy to get electric on the way home (that's the only place I can get it) and actually didn't buy beer. It's strained indoors cos OH and DD1 have had a row and won't talk to each other so it's been pretty miserable so all I've been doing is trying to justify going out and buying beer....feel like I've been hanging in limbo all night, in fact just found the perfect smiley to describe my mood

But, here we are, gone 9pm now and about to make a decaff and settle down for Gordon (phworrr) Ramsey and then a bit of Wossy then a very much looked forward to sleep.

Hope everyone had an easier night than me, this is definately the worst evening so far.....day no. 6 nearly done and dusted :)

    xx

Just logged on to say something totally random but...just seen a pack of paracetamol in the cupboard. Upto last weekend I bought a 16 pack of paracetamol every weekend without fail, but this pack has been unopened :D:D:D

  • :j Hi to everyone, hope you are achieving your goals.I have not had an alcoholic drink for 2107 days.:jPrior to that I usually only managed about 3days,during which time I was planning my next drink, how much to buy, where from, what, how to sneak it in the house, where to hide it,the list is endless and it was hard work a full time job actually! Never realised how obsessed I was with the stuff. Since stopping I have had many obsessions, buying wool (got a spare room full of it!),handbagsjumpers, jewellery from ebay, booking cheap flights, paint, plants etc.etc.luckily unlike alcohol none of them have lasted long.:j For me the hard part about not drinking was staying stopped. Now I just do it a day at a time. Everyone on this forum sounds so lovely,so keep up the good work.I have been spending alot of time on computer as feeling ruff with sinus problems. Not galavanting as much as I normally do.:rotfl:
