Good point about the rennies and the paracetamol. In my case (and I know this sounds strange) but I'm getting through less bread than I normally do! Whenever I woke up feeling dodgy I would eat tons of toast to make myself feel better! So not drinking has GOT be to good for my waistline surely!?

Last day of feb today and won't be drinking today so thats 26 for me please WB! Thank you so much for scoring February. You've done a brilliant job!!:T :T :T :j :j

    Have good saturdays everyone

:j Hi to everyone, hope you are achieving your goals.I have not had an alcoholic drink for 2107 days.:j

blimey heath thats nearly six years...! Impressive.

Just calling in to say thanks to winebox for recording the scores :T :T :T Top effort. And also to say that I am on your side winebox when it comes to all those naughty people handing out jumpies, left, right and centre. NTC please take a hard line on this in March.:p

By the way, NTC I have decided to not have a target in March like YM did this month. Will see how it goes. I want to try and spend less time thinking about alcohol. Weirdly I have probably spent more time thinking about alcohol since the new year even though I have recorded 41 AFDs and TBH, I am finding it quite tiring.

Anyway off to take No.1 son to Footie now so have a good day people and take it easy.

    Morning everyone!

So glad I didn't succumb to the evil posion last night, woke up raring to go....well not entirely true....but I did get a bit of a lay in and didn't feel like I'd been run over by a bus which is a good thing, paracetamol still unopened too :j

I usually do all my chores on a Sunday, but will be doing some in a minute to take the pressure off tomorrow and get myself a bit more organised, plus got a big mystery shop to do tomorrow which will take an hour or two. Got lots of budgeting planned for today, got to get my DFW ways back, when I drink everything goes out of the window. I need to start meal planning and buying in bulk again, I think this will help with the drinking cos I'll be able to drive straight home instead of stopping off at the shops and being tempted.

WB, last day today, bet you wish you hadn't volunteered now :D You've done great though, thanks for doing a great job! thankyou.gif

Right, better go get the washing on and get DS1's THIRD bowl of cereal! Then I need to put in preparations for an AF Saturday, last night was bad enough got to make it easier for tonight - I need to do a week sober (and get my target for a jumper :D:D:D)

Edited to add: Sorry WB, forgot to say.....13/14 for me today please if you get a chance :D
    xx

NTC thanks for my clock! :rotfl: :rotfl: brilliant. I watched halloween last night too! But I only saw Scary Movie for the forst time a couple of days ago so it (Halloween) actually made me laugh! And then, I watched "28 days later" as mentioned by esther, had it on video. Slept very well, considering!

:o:o after 2 AFDs was off the rails last night - Feb has always been my least favourite month but it's certainly gone quick this year. I have the worst ever excuse....had my eyebrows waxed  & it hurt ......

Will post the list but not many updates - let me know finals for tomorrow.

Off to OH's after lunch for the rest of weekend as per - coming on here while he's at the pub tomorrow lunchtime will keep me out of mischief.

I think January is the month that everyone feels that they have to start the new year on a new footing, healthy, detoxed etc etc....it's starts to wane for some during the month (me included), some manage it. Then February turns up and we all slip into our old ways. We need to think about detoxing and being healthy for keeps, not just for new year (I can't believe I'm typing this )

I was reading the paper last night about Jade Goody and thinking about how young she is and looking at her two beautiful boys and wondering what was going on in their heads and how is she dealing with it all in her head. I've been slowly killing myself for the last 16 years, there is no reason why her situation couldn't happen to me too because I've increased the chance of ill health by tipping posion into my body in excess practically every single day, I think as I established last week, 20 months less of 16 years. It's just not worth doing anymore. That being said, beer bell still goes off and it's still very early days for me...I need to keep focused.
