Hi all
Watched a movie with dd - and scoffed a bottle AF wine - dunno why- kept me busy was reasonably ok, managed a whole film and didn't fall asleep xx

Not been too bad tonight, it's not the actual doing of it but the run up to it and the first hour or so... anyways, had 2 Mr T's finest belgian choklit tiffen squares (they do have cherry in which was 1 of my 5 a day :rolleyes:) and 1 mint feast and as we already know they are green and greens are good for you We even watched the Gordon Ramsey Kitchen Nightmare double ep which was on the other week that OH had taped for me, 2 hours long and I also stayed awake for the whole thing...in fact look at the time, 23.19pm, and I'm still up!!!

Edited to add: I had 1 AF bottle of lager in the fridge which I had whilst cooking dinner, a Bitburger Drive from Germany I think, actually really nice when cold, bought from Tesco. Best AF lager out there in my opinion.

Feeling good, will be un-hung-over'ed tomorrow which is a bonus!

Good to see a bit more activity on here tonight.

Well done Jo, I read your post earlier - the one where you were all stressed out and in the lap of the gods - and I so knew where you were coming from. I'm delighted that you've managed an AF day, it can be done with the good luck vibes from your friends on here, no help from those gods, and huge determination on your part!!

9AF for me please, winebox. I'm feeling much more in control now. I think I've worked out that I have to fight that initial disappointment at 6pm and after that I'm OK provided nobody seems to be enjoying a nice glass of wine on TV.

P.S. Jo,(and apologies if you've explained the situation before): You said you didn't want to have to meet OH at supermarket,would prefer to go alone so you could stop off at the offy and that he needed to pay because you're skint. Does OH not know that you buy booze? Will he buy food in Tesco but not booze for you? I'm just confused and curious but just ignore me if it's all too complicated.

Bit cheeky asking this I suppose.. but... what would you say is harder to kick? Wine or fags?

I have dropped alcohol, have the odd glass or two.. only if in a bad mood and have probably had a total of 2 bottles in two months.. maybe 3..

But I can't pack the fags in!

Dippychick funny enough I find giving up drinking harder than smoking.Once I had my mind right giving up the weed was relativly simple Now if I can only apply that to alcohol :rolleyes:
