Just reading the Wiki link I gave for a mulligan, this is the most apt bit:
The term has found a broader acceptance in both general speech and other games, meaning any minor blunder which is allowed to pass unnoticed or without consequence. In both senses, it is implied that a mulligan is forgiven because it was either made by a rank beginner, or it is unusual and not indicative of the level of play or conduct expected of the person who made the mulligan.
Thats it Jo....Thats what I meant:T :T
Maybe GP. should be allowed one of those.!!!!
Anyway Jo...good luck for today..hope your little one soon gets better.
Take care

Day's plans have changed, DS's chicken pox are so bad that I can't leave him, I cancelled DD's orthordontists cos they said they wouldn't see her if she's just got over chicken pox anyway. Doc said DS's pox are really bad and gave him antihistamines for them, I can't stand watching him in so much pain, he's so sad and can't get comfortable, just made him lunch but he wont eat cos it's too painful, it's not a good dayDFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0

Thanks Fay, he's been having 2 baths a day with bicarbonate of soda in, then he's coated (literally!) with aqueous cream with calamine, he's taking nurofen for children and now got the antihistamine, don't think there's much else I can do! I'm sat here watching him and he's taken a few bites of the pizza I cooked him (stone cold now!), so that's a start. Went through all the soft foods I could think of before I went to tesco but he insisted on pizza! Got ice cream for later (and for me too
). He says he's tired so I think that's the antihistamine working, hopefully he'll dose off soon.

evening all...
one for the pot...
last night we had a 2 minute wave of frustration which nearly had me tearing my hair out...bedtime and child-caused chaos...and I was SO glad there was nothing to drink in the house.
I probably wouldn't have done it but I did feel vulnerable than I normally do...
Anyway, I was wondering how many arguments I've NOT had since being sober....we've had plenty of odd moments over the months where either of us could have got the hump and yet, things have been so much better than when I drank.
take care everyone! For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 20070 -
Hi,
Evening,
Bis - that's great that you've noticed less arguments since not drinking.
Jo - hope your wee one is on the mend.
Winebox - I'm on 9/16 please.
Thanks

Hi everyone,
Winebox I am on 16 af days when you do the scores please, how is your little dog? Take care, hugs. xxx
Jo sorry to hear your little one has chicken pox if its any consolation when my Ds had them he only had 5 spots, Me however as I hadn't had them when I was little got them and I was covered all over they were in my hair, mouth, body etc. So I do hope he's better soon, I know though that when your children are unwell it is very draining. Sending you alll a big hug, take care, hugs. xxx
Mp thankyou for your kind words, I do miss my Ds but though its hard you have to let your children go on their own pathway, I too am an only child my mother however was extremely clingy (stilll is) and I have been determined not to be the same. I am proud of the fact that I encouraged him to move away to university as he could have studied and lived at home. I felt that it would benefit him more and it has. I am in the process of sorting out my life, things have improved though with Mr BB so we will see? Also I am not using the red wine to blot things out anymore which has got to be good. So thankyou again you are always there giving everyone support and encouragement so thankyou for that. Love and hugs. xxx
To everyone else hope you are all doing well? Take care and stay strong.
Love and hugs BB xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxCherish the ones you love and travel back on the road that brings you home

Spookily quiet on here this past few days, where is everyone??? Perhaps it's a good sign and you're all coping so amazingly well you don't need to post so often. I do hope so (the coping rather than the posting I mean).
Monday's are good for me so 8AF please, winebox. I'm aiming to reach my (modest) target by Wednesday and if possibly exceed it a little before the end of the month. Next week is very full so unlikely to be AF then.0
