    Best of luck with your plans IA

    Just to add my twopennorth-I had a Nissan Micra as well and they are great little cars-cheap insurance and extremely reliable. Steer clear of anything by Ford-unless you like rust!
  • happy new diary, im looking for a new car too, only so i can swop the piece of @h!t that the ex oh left me with to something more practical and more affordable so heres to car shopping (something i have never embarked on by myself) and if you want to bounce around any ideas give us a shout :)

    Oh my god what a weekend.... utterly utterly horrible. Completely used and betrayed by a so called friend which sent me off the rails partially friday night... rest of the weekend was a case of tears and talk.. culminating in me now having space from aforementioned friend. Today feeling very very angry about the whole situation but hoping the space will sort me out by the next time I see him. Already feeling better for being angry rather than incredibly depressed... so hoping this is the start of getting over it. I'm very lucky to have some others friends who are looking out for me.
    Ah well. Life's too short and I'm worth more than this bullcrap.. onwards and upwards! Got to pick the girls up from nursery in a min but afterwards will do another budget as NO idea what happened the weekend and didn't keep track of anything.
    Hope everyone else is well and had a better weekend than me!

  • Hi IA,

    <HUGS>

    Sorry you had such a nightmare, just breath deeply and remember that a friend that treats you like that is not a friend at all and so not worth worrying about!!!

    Have fun with the girls this avo

    Puzzled xx
  • Happy New Diary IA! Sorry to hear you had a bad weekend but glad to hear you sounding a bit more positive. You are right you are worth more. I'm always told "What's for you wont pass you by" and usually although things seem bad at the time something better comes along. Just you wait and see....you are a good person, you deserve happiness :o

    I definitely think anger is better than depression (as long as the anger doesn't go any further than the actual incident it relates to) as you can get through the anger quicker and take some strength from it much more positively than depression.

    I never used to be either. I never, ever got angry, but now I feel that somehow (someone - ahem) has flicked it on for me!

    I'm only angry because I feel totally used and hurt.. I'm sure I'll get over it.
