When I found MSE, it was the DFW board that I first started reading and your diary in particular that I read a lot of. I've dipped in and out ever since (there's are whole lot of other MSE to read!!) but have always been intrigued by your honesty and well just found your diary's really interesting (think I'm just nosey!).

Morning all. Have woken up with a right stinking headache for some reason.. looooovely. Was up til 1.30 as had a mate over who I'm helping sort his finances out and get his debt paid off. Was good practice for my future debt advice work too so mutually beneficial.. lol! Also did my January budget last night. Will post that up shortly.
Tonight I'm off out to celebrate new years eve properly with my boys Can't wait. NYE was miserable so planning on replicating it tonight lol! Need to shift this bloody headache first though... *rolls eyes*

Girls are both fine, although Ash was up at stupid oclock deciding she wanted to watch tv... :rolleyes: But yea... the suns shining... got the feeling it's going to be a good day.

189.63 - Feb bills (I work a month in advance so I've always got the bills covered)
200 - food (£50 p/w)
26 - Band practice
40 - petrol
180 - going out
80 - misc spending
= 836.16

= 173.91 saved at end of jan.

Time to save 3k for new car based on above budget - 17 months
Obviously the maximum and only based on the above budget... there's no way in hell I'm waiting 17 months... lol


Personal target - have £300 saved by end of Jan
(Car in maximum 10 months if i can achieve it)
