Hi, have just found your diary!!!!! you are doing really well even though you may not feel that way at times!!!!

Well done on the ebay front!!!! every little helps and all that! just wish we were as brave as you to cut up our credit cards, kept them incase we come across an emergancy (like the car etc) but th etemptation is always there!!

Hi - Flying Fresian - great will sort that out - I have about £90 which can be used to keep me out of the overdraft this month - so will take a look this evening. Also saving in the tin is a fab idea for xmas. I am now going to used this tin for my CCards than get another and fill with £1 towards christmas - thanks!!

Hi Palema and rags to riches thanks for popping in and giving your support. We have a 0% CC hidden away for emergencies but I don't know where it is lol!!! I was really tempted this week at Asda to put some bits and pieces on it - but DH said No and I am so pleased we didn't!! I have had a few sleepless night over the money we owe. I would love to move in the future but do worry about taking debt on again! Maybe it will get easier. We are not doing anything though till our loans and CCards are paid off. We have managed to transfer our Next bill to our o% cards so should save some interest on there - I have also stopped the catalogue and resist temptation by not viewing online lol.
Our holiday is coming up soon and I have so far spend about £150 on stuff (that is for 5 of us) I got most of our stuff in the sales and pn ebay and i will resell after our holiday. So I am really pleased with this figure - I got a lovely strapless dress for 99p absolute bargain and still had the tags on it!! whoo hoo.
Today i have done loads for work so this evening will turn my focus to ebay. If I can make £50 this month I will be dead pleased!! Thanks for your messages of support it certainly keeps me motivated! x

Well have had a busy one so far. Did my daily scratch 10p yey. I claimed £5 back from work but added £2 to the comic relief fund we have. I didn't go for a sandwich today and so the £1 I saved I out in my savings tin - It is starting to fill up now!!!
I am feelling more positive today. I sold 12 items on ebay and have about £30 so far. I am waiting for the rest to go in so I transfer it to my current account. I am hoping this will keep out head above the water this month. I spend £110 on shopping. DH away working so this should do me and the kids fine we will have to pay for fruit, milk and bread so we go though!! I am batch making some spag bol sauce to freeze tonight. This will make teas much easier when I am on my own.
I have about 3 hours possibly another 2 in the pipleine so this will add to the pop. If I work out my sums right and don't go into the overdraft we should be ok next month. I will get a big pay and DH overtime will pay of the whole of the next bill plus the car tax and insurance. I should be able to overpay on the CC next month cos of this!!
Am off to do some jobs now, I need to go tickle baby - I love her cute giggle!! I will clear the table and set for when I have done the school run, I will attempt to stick some washing on and dry dishes and put away. i have already been to work , collected baby and posted 12 parcels. Tonight when all in bed I need to sweep and mop the floors and try and do an hours studying. Bye Bye for now!!

Had a near miss NS day today - I had to buy milk lol!
I also posted 2 more ebay parcels and have 2 more awaiting payment. As soon as it is at £50 I will move it into my account. I have done my daily scratch and won 25p yeay. I am going to look for some more things to put on ebay at the weekend. For now I am going to spend spare time LOL studying. DH had done 9 hours overtime in the last 2 days and working 3 weekends so will be a whoppa of a pay. Unfortunately all to go off the debt!! It will be fab when we are debt free and have this extra cash in our hand. This is what spurns me on!
I have another 4 hours overtime to go in.
Tomorrow DH is sorting out passport for babe, I am still sorting though the clothes to see if we have anything for hols to save spending on anything new. I need to also look towards saving 300 as we need a removable tow bar for our car. We don't need this till aug however so we have a little time. Tomorrow I will sit down and work out what we can throw at our debt next month an what we can afford to pay mum back. Am off now as I have washing to hang out and dishwasher to empty before I go to bed!

A busy busy one as usual. I have again a near miss NS day! Had to buy Jam and Milk - darn those kids wanting to eat lol! I have so far this month spent £95 on food I am going to add everything we spend on this during the month to try and find the exact amount we are spending. I have lots in the freezer though and with DH away it will stretch further. I did some batch cooking so that will help me save time on meal preparations! I added another £1 to the CC sealed tin from shaking it I can feel it is almost half full. Work owe me £3 so will get that tomorrow in £1 coins and will add to my tin. Once this is done I will start the one for christmas as earlier suggested - cheers!
I have done my daily scratch and won 25p. I think i am just going to keep going till it adds up and then maybe at Christmas take it out - will see how much is in there then!
The kids are on board and really helping the older 2 understand although DD1 is sad when I couldn't afford her riding lessons for 2 weeks! I have stopped my lessons this month as we can't afford them but I hate DD1 going without she is such a lovely girl, kind and hardworking and I like to reward her. When my Tax credits go in I will be able to manage some but for now she will have to wait. I am going to ask them in the hols if there are any ways eg cleaning the stables out to reduce the lessons. If I hadn't have wasted money on the credit cards and loans she wouldn't have to go without which makes me feel dead guilty. But hey ho I have learned my lesson. I have divided what we have left for the month into the weeks we have left so I have a weekly budget. Anything left over will go in the tin. I am also going to pay an extra 40 off the cc this month. I should also have enough to give my mum £100 towards the money I owe her.
I need to list some more items on ebay to bump the funds up need over 50 to transfer to bank.
May have some overtime in the pipeline but with DH working away the childcare is a nightmare so I will prob have to turn it down! never mind I am tired enough as it is.
Still have a few things left to do today I will check my email to see if any surveys are to do.
I have done a load of ironing.
Going out with the girls for a drink tonight and DH kindly said he will sweep and mop floors before he dissapears away for the month!
Then thats it on my own for the time being. I have this weekend all planned so not too bad. I think if I have things organised for me and the kids to keep us busy it's not so bad!

Had my first wobble since going back to work. Last night got all stressed and upset thinking I can't do and and am gonna quit. But keep reminding myself of our debt and that we need to pay that off before I can change job. God that has pushed me on!! I have been busy today I posted 2 of my ebay parcels, did my daily scratch 25p and added £1 to my tin. My mum also said that the money I owe her I must use to pay my Ccards first as they have the interest and she doesn't mind waiting till summer for the money - good news! She said she wishes she could afford to let me have it - but I told her no way I would pay her back - my mess I will sort it.
I am going to try and find our cc statement online so I can make extra payments and see the total going down!
Baby was up till 3.00 am last night so I am wrecked and will abandon any housework for tonight and play catch up tomorrow when hopefully I am feeling better!

Been to Asda today needed a few bits and a new kettle. I spent nearly £65 - was gutted - only needed a few bits was hoping it should be about 30:mad:. This takes my total shopping bill for this month so far to £155! Am going to do a meal planned from the freezer for all of next week. So I should only need milk and fruit!
Have done my daily scratch and also been to the competitions boards and entered 20 comps. Posted 2 more parcels but nothing else selling at the momnet. I have also added £1 to my sealed tin.
My DD for my savings hasn't gone in yet so will phone barclays tomorrow and chase up why it hasn;t gone! In May the d debit ends yeah!
Have had a nice day today been to work and me and babes watch mama mia this pm. She loved it and we boppedc aling to all the singing!! Didn't have to collect the big kids till late as they were at a school club!! Quite peaceful till they came home lol. Have swimming tomorrow then heading off for a walk in the afternoon!

Well both cc bills arrived in all their glory today. One on sig had £25 worth of interest added:mad:!!! The other card has £1200 on it ehh! Where the hell did that come from. Then I realised car insurance, caravan insuance, next bill I give up! Something always crops up and cocks up our debt free wannabe plans!! Will we ever get rid of our credit cards I don't think so. At least the 2nd card is interest free so thats a start. Overtime this month should pay £1000 of one of the cards it will be the one getting the interest!
I have done my free scratch today and added £1 to my sealed jar.
I need to go empty dishwasher, sort washing and tackle the ironing which i am off to do now - sad face!!

Well major !!!! up on the savings front. I have found out that a 10% account I opened last year has ended and that I have to go into town to sort it out! Appartently I thought I had paid £100 from last feb but the first 3 payments were for only £20 so am another £180 short for my holiday. Oh god how did I get myself in this mess! I sometimes think I should just abandon the whole idea but have already paud over £1000 in deposits etc. I must have been mad at the time for booking it. The hol is supposed to be stress free but it is causing me real anixiety at the moment. I though I was doing so well with money too - obvoiusly not!!!!
So need to budget in the extra £180 into next months pay. I can then bump up the account.
Going to have a rake round and see if their is anything else I can stick on ebay - am starting to run out of stuff. Will have a look through kids clothes this pm to see if anything they have grown out of can be sold!
I have done my daily scratch. I also don't need to go food shopping this week as I have plenty in fact if I organise myself then I won't need to go next week. In fact I should only need fruit and milk!
So am off to motivate myself again lol!!
